These are definitely needed if you wear your headphones for a good session such as gaming or similar. Stops sweaty ears from forming. no noticeable effect on the sound quality of the headphones ( Audeze Mobius ) and they do actually improve the comfort levels and fit of the headphones if your earpads are older than 24 months. Quality was expected from WC - no noticable issues or defects.

Really comfy feel great

These cups are slightly more comfortable than the basic stock ones but not by a lot. They're still far too hot and if anything, slightly smaller. They add a slightly muffled effect to the sound so you'll need an EQ to go around it. The only reason to upgrade is a) they're not faux leather and b) they're easy to fit.
