this is probably one of the best edible paints I have in my cake box. It's not a brassy, tarnished colour, it is pure gold. Easy to use. Cannot be applied too thickly. Brings any decoration to life. I've even painted it over the top of royal icing writing to finish of the cake. For the price, this has to be a must in any cake decorators box of tricks!

This is good stuff. I use it to paint my cakes rather than dye the full batch of buttercream. It’s proper jet black too and a bit shiny which I like.

Fab colour, great to apply with a brush, I only needed 2 coats for the title and one coat for the signature at the bottom of the book, covered the red very well that I was concerned it wouldn’t but I needn’t have worried. Would definitely buy again

Arrived within the time given. Good coverage and good metallic sheen. Was hoping to use with my air-brush as it stated that it was suitable for this. However, it is VERY THICK and there are no instructions as to how to achieve the right consistency for air-brushing. Went on ok with a brush, though you have to work quickly and not over brush it as it dries very quickly.

Really strong colour, easy to paint with, only needs one coat. Dries really fast and doesn’t have a ‘tacky’ finish. Basically flavourless too.

I have no complaints about this product, but one warning - don't believe the description 'dark gold'; this is really a very bronze/copper colour. I'm sure I'll use it, but it just doesn't work as gold so I'll be spending another £4 and trying the 'light gold' version. Only hoping that won't turn out to be silver.

Great product, really easy to use and a little goes a long way. Dark Gold is more like a copper colour however. Would definitely recommend this paint, going to try in other colours. Good for the price also

Highly recommend! I'm no cake expert but I planned to make a golden snitch cake. Was worried this one pot wasn't going to be enough but I have over half left! It goes on easily, doesnt have a taste, goes a long way, lovely colour and good price! I looked at lots of different options and so glad I went with this one!

Usato per trasformare dei biscotti in dobloni da pirata e l’effetto è stato stupendo. Ne è bastato davvero pochissimo mischiato ad una goccia d’acqua. Mi è rimasta praticamente tutta la boccetta che si può usare per decorare torte e simili.

Nice shine and easy to use. Just make sure to clean the rim of the bottle before closing it and it will keep for a long time.

The edible paint was amazing dried perfectly and easy to use. I would definitely buy this product again.
