A must have toy
This almost perfect replica of Henry will not disappoint (almost because he won't allow your child to do all the vacuuming for you!). The box is sturdy and bright, and Henry arrives with all his bits and bobs neatly inside his tummy. Pop on the winding handle, 4x C size batteries and your away... and he really will suck up little bits of fluff, crumbs and paper. Also included is a mini dustpan and brush so I can finally stop my son licking ours after he's brushed up some crumbs. My dustpan must be the cleanest thing in our house so that he can't catch any nasty germs from this bizarre need to lick it!!This is a Christmas present and will be perfect as on xmas morning there will be no lengthy unpacking and assembly with his father dashing for a screw driver. It's small and perfectly formed. Two minutes to prep and he'll have the house spotless by lunch.Well done Casdon this is worth every penny. We have a friend who's has one for her eldest, they've had it three years and he's still going strong so seems he's as durable as the real thing to.

A very happy little girl
I asked my wee girl what she wanted for her birthday and she said a "hoover please daddy." First I keeled over laughing and she barked at me "daddy I would like a Henry hoover for my birthday.....please." I thus scanned Amazon and found this nifty looking toy. I read some of the reviews and the toy averaged 3 stars but I thought I cannae let my little bird down, so I procured the device for about £16 including free postage. It arrived within 3 days and in perfect timing for her birthday. I am thick as pigs manure at putting stuff together but man this device is simple to put together. The instructions are clear and one just needs to make sure that all the pipe connections (4 in total) are locked together. A clicking noise ensures that they are locked. The device does not come with batteries, so get some in advance. She is stoked and won't stop playing with the toy. Brings a smile to her face and I have 1 very happy little girl. So Horraaaaah for the makers of this toy....

A huge hit with us
Just as this order was marked "Dispatched" Amazon put up a note saying the product was under review owing to a customer being unhappy with the description. We opened it as soon as it arrived and think it's great. We can't see any problem with the description so they must have been unlucky. Our 1-yr-old hasn't seen it yet (will update review when he has) but we think he'll love it too. Hopefully it will satisfy his obsession with the real Henry.Added later: our 16 mth old has now received this gift and absolutely loves it. I agree with another reviewer: there is no problem with the hose. You have to look at the thread; the sections twist and lock securely in place. Quality is fine generally though the flexi bit of the hose might crack as it twists. A huge hit with us.July 2017 - we've now had it over two years and it's still going strong. One of the see-through hose bits broke through abuse but the rest have stood up to an enormous amount of use.Added later still: nearly 3 months on this toy is still giving as much pleasure as ever. The flexi hose hasn't cracked and the toy has stood up to all sorts of abuse. Our little boy still plays with it several times a day,

FOUR words: MY DAUGHTER LOVES THIS!
Despite all the negative reviews, we bought this for our daughter because she loves our adult sized Henry. When she saw her little Henry in the corner, it was Christmas all over again! She loves walking around the flat vacuuming and when she's done vacuuming, she plays with the dustpan and brush - sooo cute!I was worried that the hose, which is made up of six pieces, would constantly fall apart as other reviewers suggested. This happened the first time I put it together, but I realised that when I was attaching the pieces together, I needed to make sure that the pieces are all twisted on the same way. Since doing that, it hasn't fallen apart once! But I was also prepared to superglue the pieces together if I had to (which would mean that you can't store the hose back in Henry). It suggests that Henry can pick up little pieces of paper. We haven't tried this yet, but my daughter has been able to pick up little pompoms and little bits of dust/crumbs. The suction isn't too strong though.I do not find the suction to be very loud - quieter than your hair drier on it's lowest setting.I was also worried about the durability of the toy because of the reviews and it's NOT as fragile as people have suggested. My 2.5 yr old drags Henry down the hall, carries it - drops it, stands on the hose and it's still in one piece. Why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5:The cord in the winding mechanism on the 'hat' top didn't really work the first time I tried it. I pulled it out and when I went to wind it up, it kept clicking and didn't really pull the cord back in. But that is easily fixed by manually pushing the cord in - no biggy. It's not the perfect toy, but for the level of excitement and entertainment that it provides, it's completely worth the £15 I paid for it!Would recommend to a friend.

Brilliant! My son loves it!
Bought this for my 2 year old son and he loves it! Almost didn't buy because of a lot of the comments about poor build and falling apart but I've had none of this! My son drags this around the house behind him and is so far still in tact! I also don't think it is too small like a lot if others have commented. I think it's a perfect scale as a smaller version of the big one. The tube cable does sometimes twist / get stuck, but this is no different from the full size Hetty that I own! The buzzing noise it makes when on is realistic enough that my son really believes he's hoovering the same as Mummy. All in all, very pleased with this and perfect for the money. Would highly recommend!!
