Excellent!
Very simple to use, which is what I wanted. Twist a knob at the front and it comes on. Stops automatically when the drawer at the front is full. You can also run it continuously by putting a hose (not supplied) on the back. Bought it to help dry out my flat after a leak from the bath. Easy to move around on it's castors. Maybe a slightly more noisy than a fan heater, but not obtrusive. I've used it continuously for over a month now and it's been trouble free. Extracts water from the air very effectively. Very good for drying out clothes in winter, I've discovered. I live in a basement flat that suffers from damp a bit, and I wish I'd bought one of these earlier!

Works very weel, but quite noisy
Works really well, but be aware amazon usually charge £99, but price went up to £120 and then £140 as the winter set in. So bought the second one direct from trotec on ebay and saved £20. Units are noisy and couldn't be left on at night, but does a great job of drying clothes out of the washing machine that are hung up on an airer.

If you like boring, overly detailed review
Long story short: device does what it claims to be doing, does it well, not very quiet but reasonable I'd say.It will surely help us get though the winter :) I started using it yesterday and can see the difference. If you want a more up to date feedback, comment on the review and I will respond. If you like boring, overly detailed review, carry on reading, otherwise save your time here.I was surprised when I had removed about four litres of water from the device during the first twelve hours of operation. The device is quite noisy, in my case it sounds like an old freezer, but I think it has to do with the air filter being slightly loose as once I press it a little, it is much more quiet. I will be working on that. The nice thing is that it serves as a heater a little bit - the air coming out is warm, so it helps speeding up drying of laundry, and makes it quite cosy, close to the device. The water container is a bit to small in my case, it gets full quite quickly, but then we have an open plan kitchen and cook/bake quite a bit, so this is to be expected. The manual which comes with the device is very simple and has limited information. Enough to get started, but not enough to be using it in my opinion (for instance it doesn't have recommended distances from other obstacles, listed in the big manual). But it has a link to manufacturer's website which holds the full manual. Here's the link: https://uk.trotec.com/products/machines/dehumidification/condensation-dehumidifiers-mobile/comfort-dehumidifier-ttk-e-s-series/ttk-75-e/ Neither manual explains what the levels of humidity are on the setting knob, it just explains that on "Normal" device stops working when not needed and on "Continuous" it doesn't. Wonder what's happening in between. So far, I didn't even manage to have the device stop on "Normal". I'm guessing not everyone cares about precise numbers and I'm on the geeky side of things.

German efficiency !
Very pleased with this machine, simple to set up and use. We have it running in the bedroom and is not that noticeable. It was delivered from Germany in 48 hours from time of order to delivery, for the price I believe it is money well spent.

Trotec Dehumidifier.
Nice looking and quiet in use, this dehumidifier removes excess moisture efficiently and switches itself off when full. What more could you want? It is very easy to use, the controls are clear and simple and there is no difficulty emptying the tank.

Brilliant machine its early days but its getting loads of water in the tank. Were running it in the bedroom its a bit loud but I can sleep through it but the wife cant so we will probaly have to move it .Seems to have shot up in price for some reason it was only £99.00 when I purchased it only last week I'm so impressed I'm thinking of getting another downstairs but I won't pay current price

Looks good, time will tell. A bargain?
Received today from Germany via UPS, took just 5 days and that included a weekend. Excellent! This is a compressor type which I wanted after a Meaco desiccant type broke down twice and failed completely after a short time. I wanted a no-frills dehumidifier, just an off-on switch, single speed fan and large capacity water tank. Basic yes, but why have all the bells and whistles that break?A little (just a little) noiser than the Meaco and somewhat heavier but with castors to aid moving. The water tank removes from the front, which is great. The machine fits close to a wall and I don't have to move it to empty the tank. The air filter is very easy to get at for cleaning.First impressions are encouraging and I shall try to remember to update this review as time goes by.And......at just less than £100 with free of charge carriage it seems to be a bargain.
