KJV Large Print Compact Bible, Black Bonded Leather

I bought this to carry in my bag. However it is so lovely to hold and so easy to read the clear typeface, as well as the pages turning easily so I can quickly find the reference I seek, that I am using this neat little Bible in preference to the larger one. It feels very satisfying to hold on my hand. Since it arrived I have read a lot of the Word of God from this King James Version. I learned recently that the KJV is by far the most trustworthy version because the others come from the line of manuscripts that were altered throughout time by people who wanted the word of God to blend with the pagan values in practice at the time. More recently in the 19th Century, Westcott and Host removed parts of the Bible so as to remove the divinity of Jesus. Only the KJV does not suffer from these amendments and deletions. Therefore it is the best version of God's word. I love this little comfortable Bible which is a pleasure to hold and easy to read.

This is a very neat, compact Bible, containing God's Word in the King James (Authorised) version, in my humble view the most accurate English version of the Bible. The print is quite clear for its size, certainly larger than some of the small ones. The words of the Lord Jesus Christ are in red which is very useful. The cover is made of bonded leather and so is quite substantial. The one I bought was in a dark burgundy colour, which is quite pleasant, although you can also get black or dark blue. Each Bible is provided in a smart presentation box.I would advise you to shop around for the best price. Amazon seem to keep changing their price which does not help, probably depending on the competition. There are other websites that may give you a better deal.Certainly a wise choice, mainly because this Bible contains "the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus" - 2 Timothy 3 verse 15.

I bought this after looking for a bible I could easily fit into a large pocket. This is a beautiful bible. Just the right size for what I was looking for, with a good size text. The index at the back is quite useful and helps to finds things easily. There are also a few maps. Its a very good bible for its size.

For a compact Bible, this really takes some beating. It really is fairly compact, and although the print might not exactly be classified as "large" in the normal sense of the word, it is certainly bigger than other compact Bibles. I bought this for my elderly mother who could no longer read the print in the Bible she had used for many years, and she was very pleased with it. It also uses the system (I've forgotten what it's called) of printing words spoken directly by Jesus in red. For some believers, I understand that this is considered important so is probably an added bonus.

I am delighted with this purchase which was made on behalf of another person who prefers the King James version of the Bible. The burgundy shade of the cover is very attractive - not too loud, just a little different from the more traditional black. Also, the print size is excellent, particularly for an older person whose eyesight is not quite what it used to be! The product is also of a very good quality in terms of design and ought to last a long time, as did its predecessor (the same product in black, which the new owner had wanted to replace due to wear and tear).

this bible has no paragraph headings, which i found off puting. didn't like the way the word Jesus was hyphonated to Je'sus. found that rather odd. teh print was not really large enough to be called large print in my opinion. however, it was a good size and neatly bound, so others who are not so fussy may well enjoy it. sorry, not for me.

Well thought out compact format, but can in no way be described as being large printIt is marginally bigger print than my old Bible, and I still had a lot of trouble reading it.
