Adaptor enables you to connect new powerful slide batteries with a range of old DeWALT XRP powertools 18-20 volt. You simply plug the adaptor into the battery slot in your machine and slide the batteries from DeWALT into the adaptor. It has NO parasitic current draw and it works with both the small and large batteries. The adaptor has a unique built-in overload protection unlike most other adaptors. Notice: Using the adaptor for heavy jobs for a longer period will cause the temperature of the built-in fuse to raise which will interrupt the power. When everything has cooled down, the adapter can be used again.

The adapter will be working with most of the DeWALT XRP/nano models, but some models need a minor modification to make the adapter fit the tool. Remove the black plastic piece inside the battery terminal of the tool. This should be easy to perform with a pair of noseplaiers. See the picture in the back of the gallery. The adapter is made in Denmark by the original inventors of a battery adapter for DeWALT XRP tools. It has been on the Danish market since december 2013. Since it entered the market, 15.000 adaptors have been sold in Europe

The adaptor doesn't work with tools that also can be used as a charger, such as the radio. Adaptor doesn't work as a charger for the slide-on batteries. The adaptor can work with other batteries similar to DeWALT, but there is no warranty when using other batteries then DeWALT. - No charger, battery, bag case, tools or other accessories are included - You should expect to lose all DeWALT warranty when using our adaptor, but we have not had any incidents with broken tools.
