A perfect desk timer, great design quality. So helpful in “seeing my time”.
If you’re comparing multiple desk timers, get this one!!!I struggle with focus and organization due to ADHD, and this has made such a difference. It’s straightforward (in a good way) and very good quality (and comes in a gorgeously designed minimalist all-recyclable packaging - which I’ve kept to use as a “travel case” for the timer).Just turn the dial to your desired time and watch the time slowly slip through your fingers (haha) - it’s genuinely helped me be far more productive and time-aware.There is one simple switch on the back that indicates whether you want the alarm to sound when the time is up or not. Ignore any of the other reviews complaining about this - I’ve found it’s simplicity is useful. When the timer runs out (and if the sound switch is turned on), the alarm doesn’t go off indefinitely — it only only sounds for four pairs of beeps before automatically stopping. (If you want to silence it sooner, you can turn the switch to off and then immediately back to on, for next time.) The alarm’s beep is appropriately loud/piercing in a way that mildly jolts your focus if you’re distracted, but isn’t excessively loud or grating. The point seems to be that it gets your attention in a way that won’t let you miss the timer going off — but this alarm knows it’s not trying to wake someone out of a deep slumber.Overall, this is straightforward, attractive, and well-made. The designers clearly took time to consider what it would be used for, and tailored the functionality to that. Highly recommend.

Perfect Timer for Focused Study and Meetings
I recently purchased the TIME TIMER Home MOD - 60 Minute Visual Timer in Dreamsicle Orange, and it has been a game-changer for managing time, especially for homeschooling and work. The visual countdown feature is super helpful for kids to understand time limits without the distraction of ticking sounds. The design is sleek, and the color is bright and cheerful, making it an attractive addition to any desk or study space. I love how easy it is to set and adjust, and the silent operation is a huge plus, especially for maintaining focus during study sessions or meetings. It’s perfect for staying on track with tasks and helping children develop a sense of time.Overall, this timer is a fantastic tool for both kids and adults, especially if you're looking for a more visual, quiet way to manage time. Highly recommend it!Pros:Silent operation for minimal distractionClear visual countdown that’s easy to readBright, cheerful designGreat for both kids and adultsCons:None so far

Great Idea, Great Execution
The use of area sweep for time remaining is a fantastic idea. The simple and utilitarian design and execution gets kudos as well. It's both the idea and the execution that gets this five stars. You can set this in...literally... a second or two. Just rotate the "on front" dial... and that's it!Front is where it should be. And it has a very nice tab on the dial that not only allows easy tactile feel for the time, but is an aid to rotate it too. Very nice.It has silence and alarm modes. But the nice thing about the alarm is it is short (but not too short), and does not require any user action (other than to set it or not). Just a "beep beep; beep beep; beep beep; beep beep". Four double beeps...and done. Avoid the user having to turn it off.Although the area sweep for time is great for children, I've found it very nice as a cook timer. The area can be seen from across kitchen and is cognitively pleasing. No numbers or hands to process; higher order cognitive thinking. Humans process area more easily than clock hands or numbers. A glance is all you need and you get immeidate/effortless feedback on time remaining.I"ll buy more.

Great little analog timer.
Great little analog timer. It shows graphically how much time is left, and you have a choice of whether or not it beeps at the end via a button on the back - you can select beep or no beep. The timer starts as soon as you move the pointer, and you can time up to an hour. Not a good timer if you're looking for seconds, but I use it for blocks of time, 3 or 5 minutes until I do this, or 15 minutes of that, type thing. Very pleased with this timer, it has been exactly what my ADD brain needs.
