THERMOcafè by THERMOS 420 ml Plastic and Stainless Steel Soft Touch Travel Mug, Black

I bought this to replace my 6 year old one which was the exact same. They are a fantastic light thermal cup for the morning coffee on the way to the first job in the morning, keeps my coffee nice and warm for an hour without preheating, coffee straight from the Nespresso machine. It is the best thermal cup I have found that fits the cup holders in the work van (16 Renault traffic) without falling out and making a mess, so for that alone I will continue with these cups. The only minor down sides I have found are that cleaning the lid is a pain as after some time dry coffee can block/restrict the breather hole which is in the slide. When it blocks up it pretty much stops the flow of coffee from the cup, so a thorough clean is critical. Also the stainless centre is attached to the plastic putter by a steel bolt on the base of the cup under the foam, over time (years) this bolt rusts and the foam with drift from the bottom. All in all a great cup for a real good price.

Gave 4 stars because it does indeed do the job, keeps my tea warm and it's very light weight. I bought this to use next to my gaming PC as when I am live I can't always run down to make another cuppa so this is my way to keep my tea warm but unfortunately it does leak from the drink section so needs to be kept up right, which is fine for me as I only need for warmth but not so good if others are looking for non-leak. Value for money is great, keeps warm and the colour/design were enough choice too. Don't regret buying this one.

Very disappointing, after using less than 20 times the lid is now loose and the sliding hatch on the lid designed to stop spillage and access the contents flaps about on it's own meaning that when you tilt the mug to drink it closes on its own. For a well known brand like Thermos this is very disappointing, it's what I might expect from a cheap unknown Chinese brand (who knows, maybe it was made in China).

Mug was adequate however slider slides easily so it is not leakproof . After using for a while it developed a musty smell. On investigation I discovered that there seemed to be liquid trapped between the inner and outer shell . I knew it had to be handwashed but didn’t know it shouldn’t be submerged to clean. I am now looking for an alternative .

Bought as a replacement travel mug for my husband. He had one of same make and style but was getting old, with lid and sip hole being slightly loose (had it for a long time). He wanted a similar sized one as fits perfectly in the cup holder in his car and doesn’t get in the way (drives for a living). Found this without initially realising it was the same make, and it was a reasonable price. Hubby was pleased with it especially because the top and sip hole cover are a much firmer fit.

La fermeture sur le haut du gobelet ne ferme pas complètement, même lorsque le gobelet est fermé le liquide ressort.

Si buscas como yo, un vaso térmico y hermético, no lo compres, pierde la compuerta por donde bebes.

Ho acquistato due volte questa tazza, pensando che nel il primo ordine ricevuto mi fosse stato inviato un articolo difettoso. La finestrella che scorre in cima al coperchio della tazza e che dovrebbe aprire e chiudere la piccola apertura sottostante per consentire di bere, non si blocca. Quindi, quando si inclina la tazza per bere, la finestrella torna al punto di chiusura. Do poco giorni ho restituito e ricevuto in cambio una nuova tazza, ma anche la seconda aveva la stessa problematica della precedente. A questo punto, credo sia un problema di progettualità riscontrabile in ogni singolo pezzo di questo articolo. Ho reso anche questo e ne ho semplicemente ordinato un altro tipo.

Ein Kaffeebecher der Sorte Unnütz. Absolut nicht zu Empfehlen, Kaffee nach ca. 1Stunde und 15 Minuten nur noch Lauwarm. Der Becher ist für Autofahrer Ungeeignet da er auch noch am Trinkschieber leckt, was dazu Führt das alles mit Kaffee versaut wird. Von der Handlichkeit sehr gut, aber das ist auch schon alles. Hätte den Becher zurück Geschickt aber mein Kollege (Schreibtischtäter) meinte gib mir den ich Sitze ja am Schreibtisch.
