So this kit has everything you need to begin carp fishing. I'm just getting back into fishing after a 25 year break, and really fancied going for carp. The rods are fab, strong dependable, dven when playing a carp of 5Ib plus they are reliable. The reels are also up to the task, they function as advertised. I changed the line on mine, as I found the line kept going slack and twirly. My guess it's poorer quality line, but that doesn't change the fact the rod and reels are very good. The day shelter that came with it, is sadly not high enough to sit inside wirh my chair, so went and bought a brolly, not the sellers fault i'm 6' 3". Only 2 of the bite alarms worked, and I have to say they work very well. But disappointed that I sent the seller an email via Amazon, to report the fault and have yet to receive a reply. So would have given 5 stars but the sellers lack of customer service has let me down a little. Rest of the kit is great.

The tackle is perfect for the use of carp fishing and i wouldnt get it anywhere else.

I decided to give fishing a go as a new hobby and try to spend a bit more time outdoors. I didn't want to spend hundreds on kit if I wasn't going to carry on. I ordered this set and everything came quickly and well boxed up. Genuinely the only thing I needed to do was change the line on the reels (as the line is rubbish) and put a half decent rig on. I've now used the kit on 6 sessions and it's awesome! I am slowly building up my kit now but this was a great starting point. Will catch carp and other fish alike. That's the majority of the good points, now the not so good: Bite alarms are rubbish Rod pod is cheap and nasty Line will need changing on the reels That's pretty much it. Basically if you're after a cheap set to get up and running then buy this!!

Overall great product just lacking a few essentials needed to actually be able to set up and fish straight away.could do with maybe adding a bit more tackle in the form of back leads/rubber tubing/lead clips+swivels/boilie stops/basic bag of ground bate would enable the customer to instantly start fishing upon receiving the product.cant 💯 call it a complete set if you need to go and buy extras before you can start to even fish.also shelter is terrible shocking though really
