EVERIE Sous Vide Lid Compatible with Anova Cookers and EVERIE Container EVC-12 (Corner Mount) (Not Compatible with Rubbermaid or Cambro)

Okay. I believe this lid is a great product and super inexpensive. It fits 10L containers perfectly. I'm using it for the first time (January 18, 2018) and really have no issue with it. The only immediate gripe I have, it seems like it could break very easily at the hinge point. Yet, for $10, it will do the job. Even if it breaks it will continue to insulate the tub.Now what IS upsetting are all the numbskull reviews from people who didn't thoroughly read the details of the product before purchasing.

The container and cover match my Anova s-v unit perfectly. Easy to fill, empty and clean. Small enough to fit in one well of my double sink in the kitchen - super convenient for longer cooks when you don’t want the container In the way. People have devised all sorts of home-rigged solutions but IMO, it is so much easier (and more elegant) to bite the bullet and just buy the container that was designed for your Anova unit.

Fits well on the Everie 12 qt sous vide container, and out Anova Cooker slides right in. Only down side is that it won't stay open, so when adding or adjusting bags, one hand has to hold the lid open. But, it does significantly reduce evaporation so I can wander off for 5 or 6 hours and not worry about adding water. I do wish they made a container and matching lid about 50% larger for use when cooking for holidays or larger groups.

It fits the 12 quart container perfectly and has enough room for my Anova. I like the hinged top so I can check things without removing everything. Keeps condensation down and works as it's supposed.

Fits both the Lipavi container and the sous vide device perfectly. Have used with Lipavi container for over 100 uses and still no issues.

Helps keep the water level steady for those long sous vide recipes and retains heat so I have consistent cooking temp with my sous vide

Functionally, it seemed to work fine. However, my first time using it, a part of the kid melted near the edge (see photo). I am wondering how long this product will last. Plus, I am not a fan melted plastic.

Fits Everie evc12 perfectly keeps water evaporation to a minimum fits my annova perfectly would say it's quality for price
