JADE YOGA - Harmony Yoga Mat - Yoga Mat Designed to Provide A Secure Grip to Help Hold Your Pose

Ok Let me tell you, i researched and trieds HUNDREDS of yoga mats (lifeforme, cork, lulu etc etc ) before setlling on this one. I am a yoga teacher and it was important that it was sustainable and very grippy , while also looking so classy. Jade does all that and more! I look forward to practicing on it all the time and everyone is always asking where it is from. It looks natural in green , is the perfect thickness to protect your knees and offers the best grip even when my palms are sweaty. My down dog doesn't move a cm and is so comfy in savasana! The smell fades and it stands the test of time beautifully. It is a natural material so i use both sides to give one side a break and make sure it doesn't get worn out in one spot only. Note- There is some wear & fading after years of use (in the palms area mostly) but this is normal as it isn't plastic and i would rather a bit of wear than plasticy mats. I will replace it every 6 or so years if needed and Jade will recycle them for you. I only wish Jade would spondor me as they are pricey ;) but will gladly buy them haha!

I'm very happy with this purchase, great mat, excellent grip, provides enough cushioning for the joints, I like it's heaviness as well, when it is unfold the edges lay flat. Haven't noticed any smell.

Great mat, can provide a good grip, goes easy on your knees, and great overall for everyone, especially beginners. Quite close to hot yoga mats like B-mat in terms of grip, while being cushy enough.

I have a numbers of yoga mats by key market leaders, this mat beat them all. Arrived in the afternoon and used the same day with no need for any kind of preparations. Right level of thickness and provides the best grips of any mats I used before (I have tried some even more expensive mats used by fellow practitioners). I brought this particular mat because they use the same mat in the yoga classes I go to, so trial and tested before I part with my money. Best performance and priced mat on the market in my view.

Haven't used it very long now but it is nicely padded- no sore knees! Feels really durable, feel like I will be using this badboy for a long time! Would be 5 stars in terms of quality, feel and non-slippiness, giving it a 4 for colour purposes only- gets so easily dirty! If you're maniacal with the spray bottle though, the colour is really lovely!

DO NOT PURCHASE. This product is deficient in just about every respect. It is too small, too thin and too expensive. I was stunned when it arrived - I wouldn’t pay £8 for it, let alone £80.

Love the yoga Mat, it’s exactly what I wanted it, have been using this brand for long time, would not use others

I bought a Jade Harmony 3/16" x 24" x 68" Tibetan Orange Yoga Mat on 19-June-2020. I paid 82 pounds for it including delivery. I have been using it for just over 2.5 years. And I loved it. I used it on average 2 times per week. However, the Harmony mat has completely lost its stickiness. I really thought it would last longer. I clean it and take care of it as per the guidelines. I don't use it outside. There is no sun exposure, no essential oils or anything. It stays on a clear surface in my meditation area. It's my indoor mat. I used it on a marble floor for almost 2 years. And then for the last 1 year, it's been on a wooden floor. I am not sure if this is normal. The mat moves around A LOT when I am on it. I no longer feel safe doing yoga on it. I mean, I am quite unstable at the best of times. I tend to trip over my own feet. I had read a lot of reviews saying that people have had their mats for 6-7 years. I thought I'd be OK if mine hits 4 years. But the problem started at about 2.5 years mark. It feels like it's not long enough. All my previous yoga mats were in the 20-30 quid range so I was never really bothered when they started to slip. To be honest, I have no idea if I should be pissed off or not. Perhaps this is normal for yoga mats. Perhaps I just had unrealistic expectations. I mean, who thinks about growing old with their yoga mat? I did contact Jade customer service about it but they just said for some people the mat lasts for 6-7 years and for others not so much. However, I don't think I could have improved the conditions for the mat. I am really wondering how people are able to use these mats for 3 times longer. One thing is for sure, I won't be buying a Jade yoga mat again at their crazy high prices. I don't have a huge income, I use free YouTube yoga videos (thanks Adrienne), yoga is done in old ratty clothes rather than the latest lulu lemons and I'll look for cheaper options that hurt less when the mat turns into a slip and slide.

This is a heavy duty yoga mat , good for hands that slip on all other mats, even the non- slip ones. And the colors are beautiful. They are great quality and last forever. This is my second one only because my ex-boyfriend’s cat loved my old Jade mat almost more than I did. But it was an excuse to get a new color anyway.

Ce tapis a l'avantage principal de ne pas glisser. Il est en caoutchouc naturel et je pense que c'est grâce à cette matière qu'il est à la fois confortable et anti dérapant. Pour les poses d'équilibre il n'est pas trop épais et reste bien ferme. En outre, il est sobre et se range facilement. Il est fait pour rester à la maison (assez lourd, et pas de sac de rangement). Je le nettoie à l'eau. Je le trouve vraiment génial, et je ne peux plus m'en passer! Le petit plus serait d'y ajouter un sac de rangement.

Mit dieser Yogamatte macht die Yogapraxis Spaß. Der Halt, selbst bei schweisstreibendem Ashtanga oder Powervinyasa Yoga ist perfekt und die Länge würde ich unbedingt empfehlen. Die Matte sollte jedoch auf keinen Fall in die Sonne, welches auch angeraten wird. Dieses habe ich ignoriert und nun musste ich mein 2.Modell bestellen, da die Oberfläche rutschig wurde nach einigen Yogastunden im Freien. Die Matte ist schwerer als andere und am Anfang kann sie nach stark Gummi riechen, etwa wie ein Fahrradreifen, dieses verflüchtigt sich aber bald. Kann die Matte uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

I've been doing yoga about 8 years and always used conventional PVC type mats. I decided to try a more 'upscale' (aka - expensive) mat this time and have found that it's worth the extra money because I get a better grip. Having a better grip is useful even in basic postures like "down dog" and surprisingly even seems to help my form a bit. This mat is definitely more 'sticky' than the mats I've had before. I find that the thickness and support are a good compromise between the softness needed for your knees and other bony spots versus the stiffness that's helpful when doing balancing poses. One issue that others have mentioned is the smell. Yes, this mat does have a distinctive odor that some may not like. Because it's made of natural rubber this is what you're smelling. At first it's very noticeable, but I laid mine out in the garage for a week so it could 'season' and dissipate the smell and this made a big difference. Now it still has the same smell but it's so mild that only the person using the mat would notice it and then it's a matter of personal preference as to whether it's a good smell or a bad smell. I'm OK with it and would happily choose this same mat again. Oh one other thing, the color . . . I got the Sedona Red one because I was tired of always having mats in the same color spectrum since most seem to be blue, green or lavender. I was concerned that it would arrive and turn out to be a really intense red that would be too bright, but it's a warm, comfortable red that looks great.

Can’t go wrong with jade yoga mat. Everyone has different preference. If you want grip with stability this is it. Colors are beautiful. Bought this for a gift and she loves it.
