Which version is the HDMI?

To answer everyone's question (which I will paste into someone's Q/A who also asked about it's version), HDMI works in weird ways and I'm going to explain how their workings can answer your question. HDMI cables send large amounts of data and are restricted by how their cables are made. An HDMI cable with a faster MHz (transfer speed) can push more data through it's chord in one instance. This MHz restricts and defines the resolution types it can send. Over the years there have been different versions. Here are there MHz and display capabilities: HMDI-1.3 75MHz, 720p-1080i | 1.4a Variable Hertz, 720p-1080i, Ethernet | 1.4b (also known as High Speed or 1.4 Category 2) 340-350MHz, 720p-1080p (w/ 3D), Ethernet, 4k (w/ Standard 4K 3D) | 2.0 Variable MHz (Normally 500MHz +), All current formats, including Rich 4K & Rich 3D (Mostly matters for screen sizes above 100", Ethernet.These restrictions are complicated, but if you buy the right chord that's all that matters. Reason being is the connectors aren't nearly as much of the issue as the wiring that runs through the cables. Making good wiring with little resistance is hard because it's very thin lightweight metal.However the HDMI Port used in this wall jack is a simple coupler. Couplers use thick hard metals, and have lots of surface area and filling for electrons to move. So as long as you see that it's gold plated (like this one) chances are it's even better than your chord. Now ethernet requires a few adjustments to the porting to make it more efficient so you can also guarantee that Device Control will be supported.To furthermore answer someone else's question, there is no version to any coupler because to this date they do not restrict the signal more than any cable we currently have the technology for, hense forth this is not a worry. Some cables come with weird specs like 1080i and 3D which normally shouldn't mix because 3D requires more Hz than 1080i, but it will have enough for 3D at 1080i, and not enough for 2D at 1080p* (because of how complicated "progressive scan" p* is). This tends to cause confusion in people thinking that some chords have some kind of 3D support, or Digital Audio support. It simply just supportS them because they are fast enough.So in short... YES, this product WILL support 3D 4K and Digital Audio for Receivers with a Matrix Decoder and every other video/audio format in-between. Also, while you may find more optimal, more perfected couplers out there for like 60 buck+, you won't notice a difference unless you own an IMAX Theater, which nobody does.. they're mostly there for what's called "Quality Assurance"

Is there a special wall box for this? I tried to match it up with the blue 3 gang and the screws are too far apart (top to bottom) to fit one.

These should fit into a standard blue wall box. We have tested this SKU with a standard blue wall box that we have on site and the holes line up perfectly. Maybe your box is larger for some reason? Please took the front plate off of each outlet module and then attached each outlet module onto the gang box with the included screws/bolts? The outside plate will then screw onto the front of the modules utilizing different holes once the outlets are in place.

Has anyone found a 3 gang low voltage bracket that fits this? Comments suggest that the OnQ/Legrand recommended by Amazon does not.

I have used this bracket 2x with no issues. OnQ / Legrand AC101003 3Gang Low Voltage Bracket, RetrofitSold by: Amazon.com LLCThe bracket is a little flimsy but works fine and fits the Folsom 7.1
