I would imagine they would be fine. They are the size of typical children scissors. If your little one can use those, then I think these should be fine.

Q: Would these be suitable for 6 and 7 year olds? Or should i go for bigger ones?

Definitely no bigger as I purchased these for my2 to 5 year olds.

I would say yes. I used to be a childminder and children aged 2 years and up used them for fine motor skill work on wiggly worms (pretend ones) and picking up small cereal shapes as well as beads, pasta etc.
