In trying to help my hubby get more support, I've delved deep into the world of men's jockstraps and discovered that a lot of them don't breathe or have very uncomfortable designs. This product is worth the price for many reasons. First, the waistband isn't extra wide (wider waistbands always feel tighter, fyi). The thin back straps leave the bum clear. Realize that a bare bum inside pants is asking for a wedgie to happen, so to avoid that, you could add on a pair of boxers or regular underwear over this strap. But at night, wearing this jockstrap to bed by itself will give you nice airflow and not make your essentials overheat because the front pouch is a nice breathable mesh-- the kind that light will actually shine through if you hold it up to a window. Took me hours to find this kind of mesh (most cups seem to be made of a solid material) and my man was well pleased. I always get him a size up, bc life is too short to have a tight waistband squeezing you all the time. He says it provides good support, which is extra important for us because he has a previous injury that can cause flare ups of pain otherwise. If you've got larger man parts with a smaller waist, I'd recommend getting an XL size for the cup, then simply snipping the waistband in the center back and stitching it back up a bit tighter. I wash these in COLD in a laundry mesh bag with my regular loads, then hang dry. NEVER PUT JOCKSTRAPS IN THE DRYER or they will shrink. Good luck in your search!

Great purchase which provides excellent support in the area where it matters. Have had an embarrassing left-side inguinal hernia quite low down and this item has resolved the problem to such a degree that there is less chafing and the hernia seems to have been pushed back to where it should be. If you are looking for support of this nature, advise you make this purchase as combined with other exercises it could, possibly, provide a natural cure to questionable mesh hernia surgery. Seems to be working for me but can't guarantee it for everyone. So impressed that I've purchased several more.

I needed to replace my existing underwear set, which is wearing out and no longer available in the shops.I also needed something which will carry 'incontinence pads' - (consequence of getting older!!)I tried out the sizing with some similar black ones available on Prime, then ordered these.It all works very well - the colour variety is a morale-booster - though not of course shown off in public!My waist size 44 is within the stated size range.It would be nice if all the colours were available on prime and if there were a multi-buy discount on postage costs.

you can look like a sexy jock and they are comfortable too as long as you get used to being bare arsed.

No 5th star because i found the leg straps a bit small but the waist and pouch are excellent fits and for the money its a total bargain, will be ordering more
