Very smooth and quiet operation. Perfect for smaller desk footprint
We initially fitted a shelf in our sons room for a TV to sit on, but when he wanted a PC, we thought we'd need to remove it and put in a full computer desk for him. Came across this and thought we'd give it a try. Fitted perfectly to the underneath of the shelf (had to take it off the wall to make fitting it easier, but it was very easy to fit once we did), and installed in less than 20 minutes total. Shelf slides under, and mouse pad slides in, but has enough left to hold the mouse in place without having to move it. Wrist rest is excellent quality, as is the mouse tray material, very hard wearing. Perfect when limited for space.

Feels cheap, but does the job it's meant to do
I needed to extend my desktop as there wasn't much room to accommodate my monitors and keyboard and was looking for a pull out keyboard tray. I'd seen several ranging in price from £25 to just under £100. I chose this partly due to the price, but also the name, as I have got a number of Fellowes items and was pleased with their quality etc. It's made of plastic and as a result feels a bit cheap, but it's fairly sturdy and for home use is ideal, I wouldn't recommend using this in a work environment though. The instructions were acceptable, but I could see how some may struggle as other reviews have commented on them, however, I found them reasonably easy to follow. Fixing it underneath my desk was a bit fiddly and involved me laying on my back, holding a torch in my mouth and trying to balance the tray on my knee so that I could mark where I needed to drill the pilot holes.A couple of people have asked if you can raise or lower the keyboard tray once it's installed. It can be done, but effectively you have to remove it, change the height on the brackets that secure it to the underneath of the desk and reinstall it. This will probably take about twenty minutes to half an hour.Overall I would recommend this as a solution to extending your workspace.

Horrible self assembly low quality - now returning both items - do not buy !
This is about the fiddliest self-assembly item I have ever encountered. I have suffered trying hours of wasted time trying to get this horror up and running and have returned both. Do not purchase unless you have incredible diy agility and endless time !

Good value, good quality keyboard drawer
On the plus side:* it feels secure with minimal bouncing when typing / using the mouse tray.* the drawer runs smoothly and can be adjusted to 3 different heights.* drawer can take full size keyboards (making my compact one look VERY small!).* screws supplied work on a paper-filled IKEA desk (I am using the Lagkapten desktop without any problem - just be careful not to over-tighten the screw when installing).* mousepad can be fitted on either the left or right side (you will need to remove it to take the plastic wrapping off fully).* not as expensive as many alternatives. On the minus side:* the instructions are OK but are not the best (label the different sized screws before you start).* save yourself a lot of hassle and put your desk upside-down if possible.. it is a LOT easier to stick the drilling template in place and drill the 4 pilot holes this way.* drawer will stick out slightly from the front of the desk (unless you install it further back, however then it might prevent you extending the mouse tray if you don't have 21cm clearance to the side).* no choice of colours (PLEASE make a white or pale grey one Fellowes!).

Does the job well.
Very pleased with this keyboard manager, quite easy to fit but beware that if you follow the template the tray will not push back in flush with the desk. The keyboard tray stays in position well but the mouse platform seems to work it`s way in during use. The height adjustment was good as on it`s highest setting there is plenty of room for the knees to fit underneath. This does the intended job perfectly and would certainly buy it again if the need arose.

Does the Job
Clear instructions and easy to fit and does the job very well. The only fault is that this is a product for improving office ergonomics but the ergonomic type of keyboard doesn't fit! It's fine for standard keyboards which is what most people use, and very good value. The mounting brackets are made of plastic and are not that strong so be careful what you get up to under the office desk!
