I've had Hoover steam vacs and Kenmore vacuums, but this is my first Kenmore carpet spot remover. I purchased this for my motorhome. It's removing the dirt like crazy but there are a few stains from the previous owner, that just aren't coming out. Not really sure what it is either. I'm very pleased with the results, though. I may have to get something stronger and retry those tough spots. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing to clean up small areas or an RV. My motorhome is 38' long with a super slide, and most of it is carpet. At the time of my purchase, this was rated No.1 on the market. I would agree.

I needed my car cloth seats to be shampooed but having it professionally done was just over priced. I did some research and came across this Kenmore Cleaner which checked all of my needs, so I made the purchase, tried it and NOT disappointed. My car cloth upholstery was gross dirty, this machine effectively removed with one try.Definitely a great purchase that works well in removing stains, food spills and built up dirt.

Nice little vacuum. Works great. Only wish it had heat but then I just add hot water where needed. Love the long hose and it has great suction. Would buy again and recommend this product.

Works really well. I have two improvement suggestions that would make me love it even more. I wish the handle was a little more ergonomic (better grip), after using it for a while your hand starts to hurt. And the dirty water tank...why does it have a thick edge and a small empty hole? The dirt gets trapped on the corners where the sides meets the top and it is a hassle to clean. If these two things were fixed this machine would be perfect. Oh and the soap it comes with I am not a fan of, I tried using it to remove cat urine odor from a carpet, it still stank.

*update* okay, I’d definitely give zero stars if possible for the customer service of Kenmore/Sears and the manufacturer Cleva. We’ve been calling every single day having to start over with someone trying to get a replacement clean water tank. Eventually, we were sent a “form” via email that we have to print out and send back to Cleva. The form states that we must remove the label from the appliance and attach it to the form, then further states that we MUST cut the cord of the appliance and attach a photo of it with the form so the company can DECIDE whether or not they will replace the part…this whole process has been a joke. This appliance is supposed to have a 1 year warranty.A friend of mine owns an appliance repair company so I contacted him to see if he could get the part for me and I would just pay out of pocket to not have to deal with Kenmore/Sears and Cleva anymore. There is absolutely no way to purchase parts for this appliance outside of Cleva. He also informed me that in his 20 years of appliance repair, Kenmore/Sears is known to have the worst customer service and do whatever possible to just take your money, to the point that he refuses to even work with them anymore. At this point, our expectation is that we are stuck with a $150 broken appliance that’s going into the trash and we are NEVER buying from Kenmore again.*original* I bought this shampooer 6 months ago and it has been phenomenal for its purpose. Easy to dump/clean, great suction, overall was very happy with it. Although I’ve had the product for 6 months, it’s not an every day use appliance, so I’ve maybe used the shampooer a total of 6-7 times. The last couple uses, I noticed a little puddle of water left behind where it sat on the floor during use. Didn’t think too much of it at first until I pulled the clean water tank off to get it ready and there are cracks all over from the inside of the tank. The cracks have spread down all sides of the tanks and the water leaks out everywhere. There’s been no damage to cause it, and you can see the cracks began from the inside (you can’t fully open this tank, so there’s no way to damage the inside of it that I can tell), I have no idea why it’s suddenly cracking all over, unless it was cracked when I bought it and just didn’t notice until they started to spread and leak so heavily.Upon calling customer service, we were informed that it IS a replaceable part but that they don’t have it stocked. We were told they were going to quickly contact their buyer for parts and then call us back. We’ve yet to hear back from them as to whether or not we can replace the tank.The shampooer was GREAT while it worked, which is the only reason I gave the 2 stars. However, I paid $150 for a shampooer I was able to use about 6 times. Where’s the customer service? An appliance is this cost should be under warranty at least a year and shouldn’t be no functioning after 6 months of irregular use.

The Kenmore carpet cleaner has exceeded my expectations. I had my previous name brand version for years and it served me well but this one is better. The tanks are nice and big without being too big and go off and on easily. Best of all the dirty water tank is very easy to empty and clean because it has a wide mouth. The hose and cord are long and it does a good job of cleaning the carpet. It's a good size and light for carrying and storing. Recommend

The item appeared to have been previously open and was missing the 8oz shampoo as it shows in the picture and description.
