We had a DIY project on to-do list. Changing the switches covers. However, this first foray proved expensive. Alternatively, this self adhesive mirror like is ideal. Cut to size, easy to apply and our switches look brand new and silver as hoped for.

DO NOT PURCHASE, i dont normally write reviews but this item is so bad i thought it need to be share with everyone, The item is of very poor quality. Both the backing and the top cover feel extremely flimsy, almost like tissue paper. The product tears easily and lacks durability. The adhesive is not very strong as well, even on a fully cleaned surface. I am not sure what this product is for but the description in this ad is misleading.

It works a treat, but it's extremely thin and very tricky to apply. You will need some kind of applicator to make sure you get this flat on to the wall. This will, however, show up any imperfections in your wall due to being so thin a product.
