This is an intensely rich peppermint essential oil, and smells better than peppermint offered by some other brands. Clear crystals of menthol can be seen if this oil is stored at cold temperatures, and this is not a bad thing, because menthol is a chemical compound naturally present in quality peppermint oil, and plays a role in the overall peppermint aroma profile. If you ever see these clear menthol crystals, simply immerse the glass bottle in a cup of hot water, and you'll see that the menthol crystals will rapidly redissolve back into the essential oil.

Smells very nicely. I used this to help get rid of the rats under my shed but that didn't work. Oh well. I'll keep trying in better drier weather.

Smells nice, good size bottle for the price, should last a long time and good texture liquid. Not too overpowering just the right aroma.

I just love this smell! When I had the start of a cold I mixed a few drops each of Peppermint, Eucalyptus and Tea Tree essential oils (all from Mystic Moments) and it was so lovely and refreshing. It cleared my airways and I could feel it in my chest all warming and cooling at the same time. I also used a couple of drops of this in my homemade toothpaste! In an oil burner it helps with headaches, nausea and concentration. Also supposed to be good as an insect repellant although we don't really suffer with lots of insects so I have no idea whether this is true. Peppermint essential oil has many other benefits like to help with cramps, back pain, IBS, circulation, rheumatism, mental fatigue and gum infections to name but a few (Each of these will need their own recipe, don't put it neat on your skin!), but I am unsure as to whether this brand is therapeutic grade due to the price and that it doesn't say it is. If you want to use it for these things then I would suggest you contact the supplier and find out because if it isn't you won't get the full benefit. But if you are just looking for a cheap oil for a starter and something to help with clearing your airways and something to smell refreshing in your oil burner then this is great and you don't need to spend more. Incidently, the oils it blends well with are tea tree and eucalyptus (as I mentioned above), lavender and rosemary. These are the ones I have tried but it also blends well with lemon, marjoram and benzoin apparently. This is a great oil to experiment with.

I picked up this peppermint oil just to use in my diffuser and it genuinely gave the room a crisp, clean atmosphere. Just a few drops and the scent fills the space without being overwhelming. It feels high quality for the price.

Keep SPIDERS at bay

Bought this as it's supposed to deter mice as they can't stand the smell. Don't know if this is just not strong enough or my intruders have colds, but it has no effect whatsoever for this purpose

I love this essential oil. It helps me relax and breathe well even during times that I have stuffy nose. Works well with insects too. Since I started diffusing this oil, I haven’t seen a single insect inside my room. I hate bugs so this is really good for me. I just finished my bottle and now off to order again, probably I’ll get lavender as well ^^ Thinking of trying spearmint too. Thanks for being reasonably priced, Mystic Moments!

Originally purchased this as I have allergy & lung issues & could no longer use an exterminator. I read this repels insects & mice so I would put a few drops around. It seems to have helped. Also, I can not take inhaler medications due to side effects. I read peppermint oil helps so I bought a diffuser and have used the peppermint oil in it at night for a few months now. It is the winter so this is my worst time of year. I have always used a humidifier. Adding the diffuser with the peppermint oil has made a very big difference! I highly recommend this product. Reduce da un trasferimento in un piano terra con giardino su strada, credo di aver intravisto un topino decisamente troppo vicino alla porta d’ingresso e cercando soluzioni incruente al problema ho letto che l’olio di menta può servire ad allontanare animaletti indesiderati e ho quindi deciso di acquistare questo prodotto a tal fine...Arrivato accuratamente imballato e ricevuto con largo anticipo sul previsto, non è stato ancora sperimentato per questo scopo a causa del clima di questi giorni, (immagino la pioggia lo laverebbe via rendendolo inutile) ma nel frattempo ho avuto modo di utilizzarlo come profumatore per ambienti e armadi, ravvivando potpourris e ponendolo su batuffoli di cotone e l’effetto è stato piacevolmente sorprendente; fresco, gradevolmente aromatico e persistente, nonostante in genere io prediliga oli essenziali più “caldi” e speziati...Ottima esperienza di acquisto quindi e prodotto più che soddisfacente, buona qualità ad uno dei prezzi più bassi di Amazon...
