Q: Aqua ammonium alum...certainly this is aluminium based. not natural.

According to Google this is a natural element, however I've been using this product for a very long time and can honestly say I've not found/realised any problems long term. I think you'd need to be extremely allergic/sensitive to such things, maybe bordering on hypochondria to be effected by this. I bought a pack of six and am down to my last two and will definitely be buying more.
