BRIO World Railway Travel Switching Set for Kids Age 3 Years Up for Boys and Girls

My 2-year old is a big Brio train fan and this set delighted him. The switches, the station platform with the elevator, the battery driven train and the little passengers. Of course, some things are a bit fiddly and challenging for him (like placing a passenger in the elevator and avoiding knocking the bridge over) but I suppose a bit of frustration is character building. Good build quality from what I can tell, especially the train wagons are much better than with non-Brio sets.

Beautiful set and exceptional quality considering I was able to nab this for £47 while stalking amazon Black Friday deals . My LO loves it and takes the train where ever he goes The only thing that I find irritating is the the battery powered train is so slooooooow and no pulling power...but I suppose this set isn’t made for me 😅

This is our first Brio set that we have purchased new for our toddlers 3rd birthday. It was on offer for £79.99 vs £99 in the shops so a decent price. Good selection of kit including track (2 pieces with switches , a station, a bridge, brio characters and trains including a battery operated one. The only disappointing element are the plastic ‘rocks’ that support the track. It’s near impossible to hold the track in there. The slightest contact and the track pings out. We’ve had to replace with wooden blocks at the same height. Will email/call Brio and see what they say. Other than that annoyance he loves it.

This set is excellent. My only comment which is not against the product but more against me is that we found for our 2 and a bit year old, this was a little advanced for his first brio set (it is marked for 3+). The main issue has been with the elevated section and our son not knowing where is feet and are continually knocking it over. Now he has been using it for a couple of weeks he is getting used it it. We have since bought some more track and more basic trains to get him going with it. As a product though, I can see that he will love it!!!

I had to return this item because the blue train's magnet was loose. The item that was send back to me the second time had exactly the same problem with the same train... to the extend that I am actually still wondering if the same package was sent back to me! really frustrating! I am not intending to return the whole box once again, but I would still like to have to replacement of the blue train wagon (see attachment)

A wonderful addition to our Brio set, our Daughter absolutely loves it, a great set to at heights and ramps with the bridges, the trains are great too with lots of passengers to transport around, would highly recommend

This was a Christmas present for my grandson who is nearly 3. He loved it, especially the little train carriages. He enjoyed putting the little passengers in and out. Brio is a brilliant product and was bought for my own children when they were younger.

good design, well made, adds a new dimension to a wooden track layout; the included battery powered passenger engine can usually make it up the hill to the upper level of the station (but very slowly - young engineers can give it a boost by hand); add the big red freight engine if you want a bit more hill climbing power

Ich habe den BRIO World 33512 Großen BRIO Bahn Reisezug als Geschenk für meinen Neffen gekauft – und es kam richtig gut an! Schon beim Auspacken lag das Strahlen in seinen Augen, und seitdem fährt der Zug eigentlich ständig irgendwo durch das Zimmer. Was uns besonders gut gefällt: Qualität und Verarbeitung: Wie von BRIO gewohnt, sind alle Teile sehr robust und gut verarbeitet. Das macht einen langlebigen Eindruck – ideal für Kinder, die gern „richtig loslegen“. Spielspaß & Fantasie: Der Zug lässt sich hervorragend ins BRIO-Schienensystem einbinden und sorgt für langanhaltende Beschäftigung. Mein Neffe ist total vertieft, wenn er Strecken baut und Züge fahren lässt. Geschenk-Faktor: Der Zug kam als Überraschung richtig gut an – genau das richtige für alle, die Holz-Eisenbahn lieben. Kleiner Hinweis: Der Preis ist eher im höheren Segment, aber bei BRIO bekommt man dafür auch echte Qualität und Spielspaß, der lange anhält.

No tengo conflicto de intereses ( declaro que he comprado este juguete para mi hijo, no recibo ningún beneficio por esta valoracion). Muy buena calidad de los componentes. No piezas pequeñas suscpetibles de atragantamiento. La locomotora que va con pilas tiene poca fuerza (tal y como comentan otros usuarios) pero no impide el normal desarrollo del juego. Compatible con el resto de marcas habituales (aunque las de brio se ven de mejor calidad... mejor pulidas y encajan a la perfecccion). Respecto a la edad recomendada creo que es ideal de 3 a 5. Los más pequeños van a necesitar ayuda para montar, pero no para jugar. El precio para mi es un poco elevado (80 euros) pero dado el resultado y la calidad no le pongo peros. Los niños se lo pasan realmente bien que es lo más importante!! Lo que ha jugado mi hijo con este juguete no lo ha hecho con ningun otro (comentario subjetivo). Conclusion: Muy recomemdado por calidad de construccion y por estilo de juego (no violento, favorece el autoentretenimiento). Algo caro.

Deze set cadeau gegeven aan een driejarige. Tijdens het uitpakken en opbouwen bleek het blauwe locomotiefje waar de batterijen in moesten te ontbreken. In plaats daarvan zaten er twee dezelfde wagonnetjes wier magneten elkaar juist afstoten. Maar het kind was er al mee aan het spelen dus je pakt het dan natuurlijk ook niet meer af om het te retourneren. Noodgedwongen dus een nieuw treintje erbij moeten bestellen. Ik zie ook nergens waar ik een klacht kan indienen. Het is toch raar dat je een cadeau eerst zelf helemaal moet gaan uitpakken en checken, maar had ik het maar wel gedaan.....nu is het cadeau een flink stuk duurder uitgevallen.
