Q: Do these dim as well as the Philips "warm glow" lights that are more expensive?

Yes no problem with dimming these lights. They do not blink on and off like some of the other brands they stay lit all the time regardless of their brightness.

Q: How much turndown in light output is expected when dimmed? Will it be as dim as a similar incandescent light?

Typically LEDs don't go to zero as a an incandescent, because they are internally electronic, and you need some voltage to run those electronics. With a Philips-tested dimmer these will dim below 20% and likely to 10% with a better LED dimmer. The WarmGlow version (search "Philips Soft White BR30 Bulb with Warm Glow Effect 65W") will dim even lower, to below 10% and I have seen some dimmers go to a few percent. but an incandescent dimmer may not yield these results. Best to contact Philips (now Signify) Customer care for a tested dimmer list. Give them the lamp model number to get it for your particular lamp. Call 1-800-555-0050

Q: Mine won’t dim. They claim “Dimmable”. Do others have this problem?

Mine dim just fine. Maybe it’s your dimmer switches? I am using GE and Brilliant smart dimmers throughout the house. My neighbors (who borrowed a few of these bulbs) use Lurton dimmers.

cri is "Color Rendering Index." Using your favorite web search engine, you can search by entering "lighting cri" and you'll find details on exactly what CRI is and why it can be important. Hope this helps.
