I’m torn on this one as on one side, I think it’s the best cleanser I’ve used in a long time but on the other side, I’m not sure if it’s worth the price. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for - effective, gentle & non-stripping, free from harsh actives and scents. I also love the foaminess and a little goes a long way. However, the price is a big deal for me and I’m not sure if it justifies it as it is (and should be) pretty simple. I got a small size to try and see whether my skin would like it but I’m torn on whether I’ll be getting the big size (and hoping, I might find a cheaper alternative)

Small but effective ideal for travel amazing for skin

Best cleanser ever. Suitable for all skin types but especially good on oily skin.

I thought I would use the gel for two weeks and then write the review to post the results. I have always suffered from break outs/oily skin and the past few month it was getting worse with constant break outs. I brought this as a last ditched attempt after all the cheaper alternatives had failed. The first week I used it I was on my period and so the WORSE of the spot breakouts and within 2/3 days my skin was calming down and the spots reducing. Now 2 weeks later for the first time in possibly years I have not got a single spot and have even gone out with no make-up on. I have also noticed my pores have started to reduce in size and less black heads appearing. The bottle is huge and you only need a tiny amount every morning and night. I have also ordered the moisturizer as I have found my skin has gone a little dry from using it. I couldn't recommend it enough and has made a real difference to my confidence!

Gentle and moisturising

I've been suffering with acne for about 6 years now and have tried a wide variety of prices from Simple, Garnier, Neutrogina up to Proactiv and prescribed face washes. This year I broke out with cystic acne which was incredibly painful due to its concentration around my mouth. This left a large number of scars all over my face and largely around my lips and on my chin. The cystic acne cleared up from me being prescribed antibiotics but I was left with all of those scars. My aunt recommended this specific face wash which had helped with her acne scarring previously and due to her being in the beauty industry, she was pretty sure that this is a Dermologica product although this product can't be bought on Dermalogica's website. In July this year I bought this size bottle and tried it out. The bottle lasted me to the end of September as hardly any product needs to be used. In this time I noticed a reduction in the redness and size of the scarring and a generally nice look to the skin (that isn't scarred). In addition, due to it not containing any oils or comedogenic ingredients (as far as I'm aware), it didn't cause me to break out at all. I would recommend this product but definitely buy this size of bottle just in case it doesn't work exactly how you'd like.

Top product for daily face cleaning. I use it with Daily microfoliant powder and the results are very satisfying! For those who think it’s expensive just dig in a bit and see first of all the size of the bottle (500ml!!!) and the ingredients! This is not some common DM product. It lasts at least 9 months for me with daily use me and my wife. Do not think of it. Just try it! It’s amazing! It’s worth every penny! And of course at the time I bought it Amazon had it at best price!

upgraded from cereve and ill never look back, i can just feel the difference right away and ive seen results within a few weeks, i think this is by far the safest and most high quality face wash out there. my sensitive skin cant handle too many crazy ingredients and additives, this is perfect, im glad they sell refills too at half the price becayse ill definitely be refilling this

I had a horrible experience using this face wash gel. I have sensitive skin, and despite reading many positive reviews, this product completely ruined my face. I was drawn in by the high ratings and trusted the feedback, but unfortunately, it did not work for me at all. Please consult a dermatologist before trying products, especially if you have sensitive or reactive skin like mine. After investing in this expensive product with high hopes, I’m devastated by the outcome. Everyone’s skin is different – what works for one may not work for another.
