Lego Juniors Disney 10736: Anna & Elsa's Frozen Playground
I have bought quite a few of the Lego Juniors sets for my Children and I love how Lego seem to be expanding and making more of these easier sets for younger builders. My Daughter loves Lego and she is very good at building the older sets too despite her age but she loves the Juniors sets as she can build them completely by herself and she loves the independent feel of not having to ask me or Daddy to help her. I actually paid full price for this set at just under twenty pound and even at full price this set is extremely good value and has lots of play value too. Size:- I have measured the set myself and it measures approx 20cm wide at its widest point by 16cm long by 18cm high. Age Suitability:- The set is aimed at children between 4 and 7 years old and my daughter who is younger than 4 managed to build this by herself and so it is a nice easy build. There are no stickers and any decorated parts are pre-printed which also makes Juniors sets easier without the tricky stickers that older sets tend to have. Build Bags etc:- The set has one instruction booklet with easy to follow step by step instructions and two main build bags. The set has 94 pieces plus some small additional spares. The set also comes with the slide and base part (this is slightly thicker than older sets bases too which also makes the set a bit sturdier) outside of the build bags. Figures:- The set comes with a Anna and Elsa mini figure and also a small polar bear cub. Parts:- The set has the one main build which is the playground and also there is a small snowball catapult that can be built too. Features:- The set has a rotating fountain which the figures can hold on to and be swung around on. There is a ladder leading up to a slide, treasure chest containing two gems and bowl with food for the polar bear inside. There is also a bench area for the figures to sit and have a drink with the included glasses and a small ramp at the front for skiing. The catapult can really fire the snowball and there is a pair of ski's and skates to attach to the mini figures feet. This is a lovely set to build and my daughter loves playing with this and her other sets in her room. This is easily one of her favourite Junior sets because of the slide and of course the little polar bear which is really cute. Difference Between Juniors Sets & Standard Sets:- The only difference between the Juniors sets and the standard sets is that the Juniors sets include more pre-built larger pieces such as rather than your child build a wall fully with maybe 20 or so bricks, the Juniors sets will have one big piece. They also tend to come with pre-printed bricks rather than a separate sticker sheet and this means no fiddly sticker adhesion for your child and no upset child if like my children they want to have put the stickers on straight and get upset if they can't manage it. I can confirm that the Juniors Lego is fully compatible with the standard sized Lego as in they have the same size studs and holes to connect to each other which means that even when your child progresses fully onto the standard size sets that they can still re-use and connect their Junior pieces. Duplo sets are not the same size and are intended for really young builders.

This is great, we will be getting more from both the Frozen theme and also Juniors range. My 3 year old daughter only struggled putting the characters together as her fingers were not strong enough but she was fine at following the pictures for the assembly instructions. We got this at the same time as a robot set so we had a lot of fun with Elsa and Anna being mechanical engineers, in child led, directed and imaginative playtime. Well worth the money

Granddaughter loved it especially the figures
1st Lego junior kit purchased. I thought that the pieces would be slightly larger than regular Lego but same size so a bit advanced for a 2 year old to put together. So it's been put together a few times by brother or grandma then dismantled and put together again. Granddaughter loved it especially the figures. Grandson keeps pinching bits for his own Lego creations even though he's got bucket loads of the stuff. The look of delight on granddaughters face when she received her 1st very own Lego kit made it worth every penny

Nice little Lego set
Actually a very nice little Lego design, with some good Frozen pieces. Our 3-yr-old daughter loves it, but she needs her 6-yr-old brother to help her with it - although it's juniors, the pieces are quite small, and some dexterity is required from the little fingers. Instructions are nice and clear though.

Some very small pieces but a good end result.
A good idea and initially a very excited start to the build but I ended up completing it which I did enjoy doing but the birthday girl was only just 4, so expected.

Went down a treat
Bought this for my five year old niece ASA way of introducing Lego to her. She loved it (i did too!). We spent a couple of hours building the scene and playing. Maybe a little tricky for a five year old to build the scene from the pictures so good to have an adult help to get things started.

Bellissimi i personaggi
