These bags are ideal for storing expressed milk, they are easy to use and work well. The only thing I would say is the ‘approx’ measurement on the bag is wrong. When pumping the bottle will say 4oz for example and the bag will read 5oz, so I wouldn’t rely on the measurement. They are leak proof and easy to write on - ideal for safely storing.

Easy to use and does not leak when closed correctly but do not use to measure had to use a measuring cup before filling as the markers are not correct so 4 stars.

I do love these milk storage bags for four reasons. 1.The volume of milk they can hold is very generous. 2. The opening is large enough to fit my pump flange in to express directly into the bag! 3. The seal is very secure and I have not had any leakage issues. 4. The bag itself is of great quality - thick and sturdy with a base to allow it to stand.

Love these freezer bags. The Medela range is far superior to others on the market. Due to their shape the milk freezes in a much more even distribution rather than in a solid lump at the bottom of the bag. I found that the other brands leaked and many ended up with holes at the bottom of the bag due to them expanding once frozen that is not the case for these bags. These however are compact and can be stored much easier meaning you can store more packets at once. The closing tab is very strong, just be careful not to have any milk in the close or it will not be 100% secure. I use the funnel from the breast pump to pour the milk into the bag to avoid this. Great product, I have had no issues with any of the bags and would recommend these over any others that I have tried.

I bought these bags to store my expressed breast milk in the freezer. They’re just as good as the Medela ones I bought a few years back with added hygiene measures at the top of the bag before you open them. They’re easy to use for opening, pouring in milk, sealing and labelling with date. These newer Medela bags are larger than the older ones sold, which means you can lay them flat for freezing which saves room too. They’re also easy to use when defrosting the bags of frozen milk. They were good value for the price. I have a Medela hand pump, which I also love.
