Ibera Cycling IB-ST2 Bike Stand, Black, 17 x 14.5 inch

This is a great bit of kit. Solid and good value. I have an e-bike and if you turn the pedals backwards the chain doesn't move. This means to clean the chain you need to turn the pedals forwards and the wheel will turn.... so this stand raises the rear wheel so it will rotate, enabling a chain cleaner gizmo to be used. Simple but effective.

This is a nice, easy to use stand. As it supports the chainstays rather than using a quick release at the rear dropouts it is very quick and easy to lift the bike on and off. I use it without the rubber rings to hold the chainstays to the stand as I’m just supporting a bike beside my turbo trainer but if you are intending working on the bike, the rubber rings will give more stability. Adjustments for height and support width and angle are really easy. I’ve only given four stars as they are £20 each but I like them…recommended!

I like to be ready to easily deal with basic cycle repairs when out and about like punctures, refitting a chain that’s come off, minor brake or gear adjustments etc.. no big deal with a regular push bike, however with an ebike weighing a fair bit it’s a different game. This portable stand will be a godsend, particularly with rear wheel punctures whilst out riding. The portable stand slips under the rear bike frame with ease, and like other reviews I wouldn’t be too concerned about the weight limit advice as the stand is only holding the rear of the bike, with the main weight being in the middle and front battery for central motor e-bikes. The stand leaves plenty of room to spin the wheel around to remove any debris and inflate with bike tyre seal as a temporary measure to get you home. The same with a puncture on the front, the stand will support the bike steady from the rear whilst removing the front wheel with the quick release wheel lock ( I’ve slipped a place mat in the panniers to use to avoid any damage to the forks resting on the ground) carry out the repair and replace quickly and easily with this lightweight stand which fits in my rear Ortlieb pannier easily. To sum up, a great piece of kit which will save you a lot of time and grief without lifting heavy e-bikes for basic essential repairs, light enough to fit in your panniers and worth every penny if you need it to get you out of trouble when caught out in our great (not) British weather!

But can fall over easy and no good if you want to wash your bike but okay for maybe light work such as removing chain or adjusting gears.

Cheap and plasticy but does the job better than anything else imo. I have a 23kg turbo levo with 29" wheels and (once you have set the angle right) it raises the rear off the ground just enough to spin the pedals. Perfect for cleaning the chain on an ebike which can't back pedal the running gear. It's also great to be able to walk round to hose it down.And it's very small for storage. Don't be out off by its maximum load, remember it is only supporting half the bikes weight.

Very handy bike stand. Bought to seat the bike on before I went out instead of leaning it against the wall and also for washing and basic maintenance of my bike. The stand is easy to set up and easily supports the weight of my 8 kg road bike. Does exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price and the delivery was very quick, so overall very happy with my purchase.

This is quite a handy tool to help keep the bike upright whilst cleaning off the mud after a trial ride. However, my Specialised Turbo Comp e-bike could just about be kept upright but a gentle push resulted in an unwanted fall. The stand clasps don't quite seem to fit. Sad really as it is quite well designed. light and well made. Not appropriate however if your bike is 20kg and over.

I have an E-bike which is very heavy and a pain to lift onto my bike stand.. This support works well, lifting the 27.5 inch back wheel about 2 inches from the ground while holding the bike upright. Great for cleaning and maintenance. For the price it's good value and does just what is says on the tin.
