LodgeClassic Silicone Hot Handle Holder, Black

I bought this to go with my iron griddle pan. It’s a must! It fits really well, is nice and thick so it makes the pan comfy to hold. There’s not a hint of heat coming through. Now I have this I wouldn’t use any of my cast iron frying pans without it. Your hands are too valuable to make that inevitable mistake of picking up a very hot pan and suffering the consequence.

Good product but a little loose on my iron skillet

Definitely cool to touch even when pan very hot. Easy to clean. I throw in dishwasher. A bit loose on the fit though which for me makes it feel a little precarious when lifting a heavy full pan. Often end up using oven gloves to grab the other side anyway

Used this on a very very hot lodge pan handle which had been in a high heat and was melting any cloth it came into contact with. Forgot and left this on the pan handle when I reinserted it into high heat ….. Amazingly it withstood without charring or burning … the top changed colour to grey ! But still gave fantastic protection. No hesitation giving 5 stars.

It thought this would be more useful, and replace the need for gloves/towels when handling hol cast iron pans. Unfortunately, this holder heats up is left on the pan, to the point that it cannot be held with bare hands. You either need to use a glove, which makes the holder pointless, or you have to slip it on when you need it, and take it off afterwards, which is a pain.I'll probably use it, but I wouldn't buy it again!

Very handy with purchase of Lodge skillet! Fit well, good quality. I highly recommend it!

I bought this for the Lodge 10.5 inch pre-seasoned cast iron square grill pan as I thought it would be a good buy for it as it's from the same manufacturer. It is not a good product, the silicon holder does not fit well, it slips very easily even though there are "gripping" strips inside the handle. I tried it a few times but it slipped every time so in the end I binned it and used a rolled up tea-towel - which in an odd way was so much cooler!! (pardon the pun). If you are looking at the Lodge grill pan/brush/holder, buy the first two - they are superb, just leave this.

I have this for a while now for my cast iron pans. Works perfectly. Wouldn't be without it

It’s a bit sloppy on the pan because it has to be able to come on and off, but it works really well. Just don’t leave it on while you cook, keep it aside and slip it on when you grab the pan or else the silicone heats up too. Good purchase.
