This patch is fantastic!! I’ve been using them for nearly a month and they really do give pain relief in my knees. I also have hip pain, when walking outdoors and thought of trying a patch on my hip yesterday. Couldn’t believe how well it worked. I’ve tried again today and same relief when walking in town. I’m just about to stock up on AMAZON.

I have problems with my knee and when it’s hurting I used to use a knee brace to limit the movement, but as I work in an infant school and need to be able to sit on the floor, that was sometimes difficult. So I thought I’d give these a go and well they are fantastic. Got up this morning and my knees hurt when I bent it so slapped a patch on and within about 2 hours I completely forgot it had been hurting. There is a herbally smell when you wear them but nothing too strong and no one around me has ever said anything about it. They are easy to apply and stay stuck for a lot longer than the 8 hours it says, as I wore one overnight once.

I have used eucalyptus for coughs and colds since I was a child. Never have I noticed any side effects. Until now. I used these patches for the first time today. I have arthritis in both my knees and fibromyalgia. It is becoming increasingly painful to climb a flight of stairs without immense pain. I had seen the patches many times before so decided to try them. I put a patch on my right knee at 12:30pm. By 3pm I was in so much pain I had to rush to remove it. It felt like my knee was on fire but it had a feel of ice cold at the same time. It was a very strange feeling. I had a bath that evening (approximately 8:30pm). The cold burning sensation was back and 10 times worse than at 3pm. If I removed my knee from the water it went icy cold but in the water (which wasn’t particularly hot) it felt like it was on fire. This subsided a little after approximately 45 minutes. But a mild version of the sensation continues. I expected to see my knee as red and sore but nothing. No change in colour just the icy burning pain. I am not allergic to eucalyptus oil as far as I am aware but I will never use these patches again. I have pain 24 hours anyway, I really don’t need an icy burning sensation which is incredibly painful on top of my current pain. Please check if you are allergic to any of the ingredients as herbal remedy being written on the box is a little mistrusting. Herbal indicates safe and no chemicals but if there is too much eucalyptus oil in the patch it can be serious. I learned my lesson the hard way.

I find that knee patches work very well occasionally when the pain is really bad I use two one below and the other one above the knee and for me it helps a lot

Some of the backing was off so items stuck together in places. Shame they didnt stick to my leg as well. Where is the heat? Fell off after 2 hours and still as cold as when I put it on

Ich habe von diesen Pflastern mittlerweile einige angewendet und muss gestehen, daß man einen Effekt bemerkt. Ich habe aber auch nicht erwartet, daß meine Knieschmerzen durch ein paar Pflaster weggezaubert werden. Da mein Knie schon mehrfach operiert wurde und speziell nun in den nassen / nasskalten Wintermonaten mal mehr und mal weniger die übliche Wetterfühligkeit einsetzt ist es m.E. aber halt auch schwierig, die Wirkweise genau zu beurteilen. Die Pflaster lassen sich einfach unterhalb des Knies anbringen. Eventuell vorhandene Haare sollte man aber vorher entfernen, da sie sonst nicht ausreichend haften. Ich würde auch empfehlen, die Pflaster über Nacht oder zumindest in Zeiten mit wenig Bewegung / Aktivität anzuwenden. Ich persönlich klebe sie über Nacht auf und dann haften sie auch bis am kommenden Morgen. Nach etwa 3 Stunden setzt bei mir eine deutlich spürbare Wärme ein, die aber nicht unangenehm ist. Insgesamt macht sich auch ein deutlich wahrnehmbarer Geruch im Raum breit, was auf die verwendeten Kräuter und ätherische Öle zurückzuführen ist. Man kann die Pflaster natürlich auch außerhalb des Kniebereichs anwenden und bei alltäglichen Beschwerden wie Muskelkater, Zerrungen, Prellungen etc. sind diese sicherlich auch deutlich effektiver. Bei chronischen Gelenkschmerzen sollte man allerdings kein Wundermittel erwarten. Ich persönlich empfinde die Wirkung der Pflaster, speziell die sanfte und anhaltende Wärme aber als sehr angenehm.

Ich habe die Pain Relief Patches ausprobiert. Sie riechen sehr stark nach Kräutern, was mir persönlich gut gefällt. Die Pflaster halten gut auf der Haut und verrutschen nicht, auch bei Bewegung. Bisher hatte ich keine Hautirritationen oder Rötungen, das ist mir sehr wichtig wenn ich die Schmerzlinderungspflaster regelmäßig anwenden möchte. Die Anwendung ist einfach und die Größe der Pflaster ist passend. Ob sie langfristig wirklich gegen Schmerzen helfen, kann ich noch nicht sagen, da ich sie erst kurze Zeit benutze. Für mich sind sie aber auf jeden Fall angenehm zu tragen und könnten eine gute Hilfe bei akuten Schmerzen sein.
