Super smart! Just wish it could last longer
I’ve purchased this stick a few times. It works great because it allows diverse camera angles and it switches fast from one to another. I use it for underwater videos so even I rinse it after my dives, it doesn’t last very long. However, I have not found anything better. The engineering is super smart. The materials are just what you pay for. I wish there was a more premium version, more expensive but durable. Anyway, a great tool.

Great for solving several must haves.
Smatree SmaPole SQ2 Telescoping Selfie Stick with Tripod Stand for GoPro Hero 6/5/4/3+/3/2/1/Session Cameras, Ricoh Theta S/V, M15 Cameras, Compact Cameras and Cell Phones I recently picked up another gopro and needed a small tripod to keep with it. I have owned several Smatree gopro products in the passed so figured to give this a try. It came with a carry case, gopro tripod adapter, smartphone holder, extension pole, and the tripod. I was very surprised to see that is was all mostly metal. The only plastic parts were the smartphone, gopro mount, and the extension poles themselves. The base of the extension area also has this plasticy rubber grip that is very solid in the hand and doesn't seem like it would slip even when wet. The tripod can screw into the extension base which makes it awesome as one larger pole. It all feels very solid and i'd have no problem leaving even a larger point and shoot on the tripod. The smartphone holder does feel very cheap and doesn't spread far enough for my iphone 7+. Only thing i would change is the trigger lock for the ball socket. It is a very swift 1/4 turn to lock and unlock but with the direct it rests when locked, when you go to either lock or unlock the extension poles by twisting, it always seems to flip, therefore letting the ball go free. In time it'll get easier to do but if under the gun, the camera will go loose.
