I have to constantly get on high lift boom and need to know if the wind is too high so i can safely do my job and this has gotten me out of some sketchy work when the supervisor doesn’t think its too windy. Read wind accurately as far as i can tell. Love the backlight so i can see the display even at night. Comes in a nice travel case. Doesn’t come with a tripod. Big plus is it comes with the needed batteries.

Not bad for the price. I do like that despite there being an arrow on the device indicating the wind direction, it reads wind speed going either way through the fan blades. I appreciate the LCD has a backlight that you can turn on/off. The built in flashlight is completely useless but whatever. Switching between units is easy enough and I appreciate the min, max, average and hold functions. Instructions aren't the best but it's also a pretty simple device so you can figure it out. Came with a nice carry case, USB C charging cable and a little screwdriver to get into the battery hatch. The rechargeable battery is fairly easy to replace.

Works great! It's not a Kestral but gives you all the information you need to calculate ballistic windage and humidity yourself!

I have tried 2 of these and am now returning 2 of these units. The windometer would not engage below 20 mph. Then at 50 mph the digital display is reading 43. 2 of 2 units would not work so.

P gives basic speed information as well as temperature easy to use and easy to read
