The product for me is very easy to install and looks as good as any other ...
Update February 07, 18===================I have contacted TechMatte regarding my order.Actually as mentioned in my review below, I have ordered this item already twice and while I have added my comments to the first order below, the second order came broken inside the box.I spent a while with my first order protector in position until I started noticing that small dust particles goes between the screen protector and the screen through the small proximity sensor opening.Fed up enough, I went directly to google and bought their $40 screen protector made by power support. while the protector had good quality adhesive that prevented the clicking noise at the screen bottom, also it was responsive. Unfortunately, it has also let the dust come in from the proximity sensor opening after a while of use.I was so disappointed, and this is when I decided to contact TechMatte. The customer support is extremely supportive and understanding indeed. they -without requesting- promised me to deliver 2 replacement kits, and instructed my to install the protector in a humid bathroom in order to eliminate small particles under the glass. This time when I took the protector sold by google i was careful to check the adhesive pattern. I found out that power support kept the adhesive only above the proximity sensor opening, but not below it. that is what allowed dust to go in between. Luckily, the new protector I had from TechMatte had adhesive all around the sensor opening. After installation the protector felt very good. responsive, no dead corners, and no clicking noise. I had a very bad rainbow effect that lasted for almost 2 days then just disappeared. I guess this may have happened due to the humidity, but I cannot confirm this theory anyhow.I would really recommend this protector as long as you are seeking a reasonably priced carefully manufactured protector for your Pixel 2 XL.I will keep you updated in case I had further findings.------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, I have ordered this product twice with almost 2 weeks gap between them. This review is for the first order which was a pre-order at the moment.I have read many reviews complaining about the rainbow effect which I did not actually have when I used it. The product for me is very easy to install and looks as good as any other glass screen protector.Never the less, I had some other issues which are as follows:- The protector for some reason shows finger prints more than the other types.- I don't know if this is a general case or just my protector, but it seems that the lower part of the protector near the lower speaker is quite movable, this makes an unpleasant click when my finger clicks on this part (Which does not happen much).- For some reason, the screen sensitivity is quite reduced with this protector in position, this is why I took a while to adjust my touch to the new required sensitivity.for me the above points were not a deal breaker, and I may say that this product is generally good.I am though hoping that the "updated version" which I received today will be better.

I really enjoy the super smooth feel but spend extra extra time during installation!
I like this screen protector. I can see the dot matrix on it, which is probably to assist with sensitivity. I don't mind it. The screen protector feels very nice on my fingertips (super smooth) while using the phone and the phone is very responsive.UPDATE 8/25/18: [the image with WET & DRY wipes]After my review (as seen below), the seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement at no cost. I accepted. I had it lying around and never got around to replacing the screen protector until what is now 5 months later (oops!) -- well I had dropped my phone from about a foot above the hard, tiled bathroom floor and the screen protector popped off (I don't understand why, the screen and phone do not have any damage from the fall, as it was a short height), and so I needed to put on the replacement because sticking the previous one back on showed a ton of lint underneath. The replacement package DID include BOTH a wet wipe and a dry wipe, as well as a microfiber cloth. I first breathed on the phone screen (without the previous protector on, duh) and wiped it real good with the microfiber cloth (caution: this cloth tends to leave a lot of lint, only use it BEFORE the wet/dry wipes), then I used the wet wipe real good, then the dry wipe (it is like a lint-free paper towel type wipe, it worked very well). I have an air puffer for use on optics and puffed off any residual dust/debris that settled after the dry wipe. I easily aligned the new screen protector and stuck it on. It kinda has a rainbow-like effect in one portion of the screen, but when the phone's screen is on, I can't even notice it. I don't mind this minor detail, because I am mainly super glad this type of screen is not the type to get air bubbles stuck when applying!PREVIOUS/initial REVIEW (March 2018):However, the product description AND the package instructions say it should come with a DRY wipe and a WET wipe... yet I only received 2 wet wipes. In the included picture you can see on the bottom of the packets that both say "1 wet wipe" -- maybe the microfiber cloth IS the dry wipe?? Regardless, I used the microfiber cloth after using the wet wipe and it left lint/debris all over the screen. Luckily I have an air puffer for use on optics and I blew away most of the debris. But when I attached the screen protector, I saw a slight smudge and a tiny strand of lint that I have to deal with because I'm not going to lift up the screen protector to address it -- in past experiences with any screen protector, nothing good ever comes from lifting it after installation. And it doesn't give any information about the included dust removal sticker. There is a slight rainbow effect on the mid-right side of the screen, as evident in another user's picture. The rainbow effect is only visible when the screen is off or displaying something dark. It is not much of an issue.
