SigmasTek SP12-9 - 12V 9AH F2 SLA Battery - Replaces: Universal Power UB1290 (40748), UB1280HR (D5785), B&B Battery BP8-12, HR9-12, Vision CP1290, Yuasa NP9-12

I received 2 1500W APC uninterruptible power supplies with dead batteries for free. I replaced the dead batteries and they work like new again. I couldn't find a lower price for these types of batteries. These are a very good value especially if you have Prime. I have had probably 10 or so power flashes/brown outs since setting these up on both of the gaming PCs in my house - including monitors and router/internet, and have had no issues with them turning off. They work exactly as expected. Would recommend. Just as a note, I received the wrong battery type the first time I ordered a pair, but that was resolved very quickly and I received the correct ones only a couple of days later. They did not ask me to return the wrong batteries. The second pair that my sister ordered arrived correctly the first time.

Delivered in good condition. Fits perfectly into the UPS. Hope they last longer.

I ordered 2 of these batteries to replace old batteries that had failed. They were bigger than the original batteries so I had to make my own cable to connect the 2 batteries in series. I was lucky in that Cyberpower uses the same case for its larger power output model. I just had to rotate the larger batteries to fit into the case. I now have slightly larger capacity (9ah) instead of (7.5ah) batteries. This should slightly increase my battery run time as well.

Customer Service is terrible. Tried the battery in two different units and both showed the battery to be bad. A voltage check showed the battery to be a the correct level but obviously the battery cannot deliver the proper load. But because a votage check was "good" my only recourse was to return the battery at my cost which would be prohibative. So afer 4 weeks of back and forth THEY won, I gave up.

The four I bought worked great in my APC SMX1500RM2U. It fired right up and read the batteries at 100%. I'll revise if I have any problems long term.

Better packaging than they used to use. Mine arrived with sufficient packing foam peanuts and plastic protectors on the F2 terminals. I hooked it up to a DIMP 2 desulfator immediately, and from that I determined that the battery was fresh/new. DIMP 2/DA PIMP 2 will jump up in voltage if it encounters sulfation/passivation in older batteries that have sat around too long.

Very good batteries. I've been using them for a little over a year. They work great. Well worth the money.
