Great ice booties/mitts to prevent/lessen neuropathy
Going thru chemo, I wore these ice booties/mitts weekly for an hour during the "bad" chemo treatment. (Not that any chemo is good for you...)By wearing these ice booties/mitts, it restricts the flow of blood into the capillaries (fingertips & toes). That then helps restrict the flow of chemo into those capillaries, preventing/lessening neuropathy.I suggest definitely wearing socks & thin cotton gloves. I dont have cotton gloves, so I just wore socks on my hands, too, to have a protective barrier from the extreme cold.Gel ice packs are easy to insert into the booties/mitts. Booties are easy to put on, as is 1st mitt. I always needed help putting on/fastening the 2nd mitt.Between weekly chemo treatments, I kept everything in the freezer together.

Exactly what I needed!
These were just what I needed to use during my chemo treatments. I credit not losing my fingernails or toenails during chemo to using these frozen gel mitts and booties for 20 minutes during each of my chemo treatments.

Suzzi Pad and inserts review
These were better quality than I expected. I bought the extra set of inserts and am glad I did. They freeze easily but if you want more time without loosing the cooling (they do tend to lose some of the cooling when you put the initial set in due to body heat contact)). It is good to have the 2nd backup inserts.

Cold packs
I love the color. It does get cold, which is nice, but I do wish it will hold the coldness for longer than about two hours, but it does serve his purpose in that moment.

Who knew!
Anazing idea. Got for friend for chemo. Comes in several colors, has provided heavy zip lock bags in which to freeze vthe gellpacks. While I got it for someone else, I think they'd also be great for sprained to foot, wrist, etc. The hand and foot covers are thick and well made, everything stores in relatively small box when not in use

Chemo
I bought these for my sister because the Dr recommended them. Chemo can cause neuropathy. She can only leave them on for a little bit because they are so cold. 🤷♀️. Hopeythe little time she uses them helps.

Maybe worth it if you have the money but hard to tell
They are too expensive since you need multiple pairs for 4 hours worth of carboplatin and paclitaxol plus time to cool down before and some time after. The socks and gloves are pretty big on small hands and 7.5 ladies feet, but the straps keep them on or they would just slide around. After a couple of infusions and becoming more sensitive to cold, they were too cold to wear without extreme pain even with compression socks and 2 pairs of surgical gloves on inside them so I would put my hands and feet on top of them which was as much as I could stand. Neither the compression or cold were very effective. Neuropathy set in but maybe that would be more without the cold socks and gloves. No way to know. It was less during the 6 treatments than after they were are all done. Even with compression, cold socks and gloves (doctor recommended), vitamin B's and ALA before and through out treatments (doctor recommended), the neuropathy at the end is pretty painful. One nurse did tell me I was more devoted with using them than most people she had seen. I do like the color and they are soft. I machine washed them each time in a laundry bag and hung them to dry. They came out nice. Be sure to fold over the velcro onto itself while washing or storing so it doesn't pick the fabric. Honestly, you would come out better filling a cooler full of zipper bags with ice and using towels the infusion center will give you.
