Sievert Industries ESK1-10 Soldering Iron Kit

I have a lot of different soldering irons that I use for a wide variety of electrical, plumbing and so forth. Recently I had a specialist task creating copper post caps using 1/8" 1 1/2 x 15" copper strip and 22 gauge thin copper plate. This was beyond any of my electrical irons. Used this iron on a higher heat setting and with the right flux it worked like a charm. Very impressed with the range of heat control, the power and its ability to transfer heat to the work. Its an expensive tool, but very much worth it if you have a large heavy duty task. I was honestly reluctant to buy this product because of the high cost. But in the end it has proven worthy of the investment and is now a much loved tool. Hats off to Sievert for making a first class, quality tool, that does not skimp on quality. Also for great product support in the way of replacement parts and accessories. This really takes this company to top tier when you know you can keep the product running for years and through different accessories use in a wide range of applications. Would buy again in a heartbeat, highly recommended.
