Does the vent have to be built in ?

I had to make a pattern, draw it onto the hood and cut the hole . Fill in the gaps around the hole and make brackets to hold the vent to the hood! Look up the hood vent for the installation on U-TUBE. Camaro, Chevy HHR and some other cars.

what are the dimensions? length, width and depth of the scoop? thanks

It’s matte but you can always paint it, wrap it, or add carbon fiber vynil etc.
