Very good carb. Great price too.
I would have given this carb 5 stars because it was brand new as described and when I started up the bike, it started up immediately and the idle and acceleration were perfect. When using the kick-start, it starts up on the first try. So why did I only give it 4 stars? Because there was a slight difference between the original one and this new one. The accelerator cable connection on the new one was a little wider than the old one and in order for me to make the cable fit, I needed to cut the part that connects the accelerator cable to the top screw-on attachment. It was not exactly 100% bolt-on replacement but it was close. I am assuming that the carb might have changed, even though the part number remained the same. The bike is 33 years old. So, now that I did some modification to the way the accelerator cable attaches to the carb, it works very well and I'm glad I replaced it. Also, the cost of the carb was a lot less than I had expected.

Only a few minor issues, all able to work around
Item fits my 1980 Honda CM200T reasonably well... only issues are that the accelerator cable port (top of the carb that feeds down) is larger than OEM so the cap is not interchangeable, also the OEM cap has an incorporated elbow that helps guide the line in and keep it clean and this one does not, just a simple rubber cap tyat will not stay in place whatsoever as it points straight up and the accelerator cable runs straight to the front as opposed to vertical. Over all it is a decent product with low price and fast shipping (received 2 days early) and I would recommend this part and seller should you need it for your project bike.

Buy this instead of a rebuild kit
Worth getting this whole carb for basically the same price as a rebuild kit. Seriously if you’re on the fence about kit vs whole, get the whole shebang. I cracked my flange immediately, partly due to a weak metal due to what turned out to be an inclusion in the casting, mostly due to installer error (I didn’t seat the o-ring fully and tried to force it). Thankfully the new carb cast bit was weaker then the old bike milled bit so it saved me from expensive fallout on my mistake. All the internals were good so I took it apart and rebuilt my factory carb, been several years, still running great. Highly recommend, not sure I would have caught the subtle assembly error the last couple owners made rebuilding “back to how I found it” from kits.
