Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Super Friends, Batbot Xtreme

We got this for my grandson and it seemed perfect. He was very excited about it when he opened it. It was a hit! (He had asked for it.) It came beautifully packaged in an Imaginex box and that box was shipped in a nice heavy carton box. The toy itself looks high quality and it is very colorful and shiny. Here's the problem: My grandson just called and said they can't get the voice or the lights to work. Ugh! They tried everything. Well, I was really disappointed and because it was so expensive, I reported the problem to Amazon by going into my orders on line. I explained what was wrong. I also had written that I really didn't want to send it back, could they just help me solve this problem. ( Maybe some trick I wasn't aware of.) They went one step better! They are sending me a new Batbot, as long as I promise to send the defective one back, by November 1st! AND, they will send UPS to my house to pick it up! FREE! I am so relieved! I guess that's why I am hooked on Amazon. I can hardly wait to tell my grandson, actually, the whole family, tomorrow! UPDATE: October 8, 2017 The replacement Batbot was delivered and it works great!!! Lights work, voice changer works! It has really made us all very happy with the purchase. My husband has boxed up the one that was defective and I'll be calling UPS tomorrow to arrange for it to be picked up. We have to take our chances when ordering on line, and most times things work out perfectly and although this one didn't at first, we feel Amazon and Fisher-Price did their very best to make things right. I will buy from that company again and always remain with Amazon. I will update this review once I get the new one, which is due to arrive this Thursday, October 5! Fingers crossed! Anyway, 5 stars to Amazon for great customer service, 2 stars to the toy. But I hope to change that in a few days to 5 stars!

Our whole family is having SO much fun with this awesome toy. We bought this for our superhero-obsessed toddler for Christmas when another toy was not in stock. We didn't know what he would think about it and we worried it might be too complicated for him. Ha! We underestimated him! Our two-year-old boy AND our almost-seven-year-old girl have played with this every day for close to a month. My husband and I usually get in on the action too. This is a very clever toy. It has a ton of moving parts, secret weapons, buttons to activate cool tricks or compartments, etc... My toddler's favorite feature is the voice-changer, which gives him a bit of a power trip. He will stand there and bark gibberish into it, delighted to hear it all come booming out at us through the voice box. He also loves when we discover the hidden motorcycle, which he seems to rediscover as if for the very first time every single time he plays with it. My daughter loves releasing the wings and activating the punching mechanism. My husband and I love shooting each other with the darts from the shoulders. (I didn't say we were very mature.) It's also a well-made toy that has held up against the test of a toddler tossing it all over the place. If you have a child or grand-child who enjoys action movies or superheroes, then this is great. There are just so many features to keep them busy and help stimulate their imaginations for pretend play.

Boy oh boy! This thing is huge. I got this for my 6 year old son, but as a 32 year old man I've never been more jealous of a toy. Thoughts ran through my head of just fighting my son in hand to hand combat to see who wins the toy, but then I realized he would easily win so I discarded that idea. But seriously, this thing is about 3 feet tall, looks beautiful, has all types of compartments and cool features and comes with a little Batman and Bat cycle to go with it. It takes some batteries to use all the features like the cool lights and the voice changer. If I could shrink myself to that size of that little Batman and ignore all my real life responsibilities in order to commandeer that robot, I would in a second. Of course my family and friends would mourn my disappearance....but I wouldnt care. Because I would have a damn Bat Bot at my disposal, fighting all types of raccoons in the backyard and such. Definitely recommend this product for any child. Buy one for yourself too.

Bought for my three year old nephew. Big hit. All the kids were fighting over who played with it and launching missles as another kid loaded it. Rambunctious nephew immediately took to the fist punching ability. From what I’ve been told their dog is not a fan. I have concerns about their big screen... Sturdy. Just enough cool abilities. Other kids very jealous including my 9 year old daughter. Totally recommend at the sixty something price.

My Grandson liked it very much. He loves all the things it does with the batman and the motorcycle. I bought this at a good bargain but I think that the regular price is overpriced.

We got this Batbot for my four year old son for Christmas. He had been asking for one for at least six months prior to Christmas but we were weary of buying one due to the price and the fear that it would only be played with for a short period of time. It's now two weeks after Christmas and he is still loving it and playing with it daily. The size is large but the features are awesome. He is able to punch, shoot and even talk into a voice changer. It also has secret hiding spots for his little batman figures which is an added bonus. It was definitely worth the price and I am glad we broke down and bought it. I would definitely recommend it with anybody who has a little batman enthusiast.

Great toy but unfortunately the markup was insane. I paid $160+ for it because the toy was $75 + tax and it was another $75 to ship from UK and then it took 4 days to arrive which makes me think it was in the USA all along and not in the UK as advertised. They charged an outrageous shipping charge. Toy is great and my child loved it but this seller i’d stay away from.

My 5 year old son loves this toy, and like most imaginex stuff, it’s durable and has lots of fun little features to make the toy more interesting. Couldn’t find it for awhile and thought maybe it was out of production, but amazon to the rescue as usual, saving Christmas morning!
