Does everything a tea kettle should do. We use it many times throughout the day and it still looks brand new. Spout opens easy and the whistle is loud but not annoying. Heats up quickly.

I used to wake up to the whistling tea kettle at my grandma’s house and knew there was hot chocolate or tea waiting for me to start my day!!! This is the perfect and most beautiful teapot ever!!! It’s whistle greets me each morning and I have a flood of memories flowing through my brain!!! Puts a smile on my face every time!!!

This kettle started developing weird, unremovable spots inside after its first use. In total, it's been used 3 times. The spots inside the kettle would not scrub out, but didn't appear to be actual rust. It basically sat on my counter as decoration for several months before first using it. Even so, now the "copper finish" is peeling off. That "copper finish", aka paint, rubs off extremely easily, even with just once a week hand washing and very little actual use. I would not recommend this kettle at all. It has been less than a year and the kettle will have to be thrown out. It's neither decorative nor functional, as well as possibly unsafe/unsanitary to use due to the inside spots,....all in less than one year.

I really like the looks of this tea kettle. I do not use it often, so I like to air dry it after I use it. I turned it upside down on a towel to drain it, and a pin from the spout mechanism fell off. It was a little difficult, but my husband did manage to get it back together so it would work again.

This is a beautiful kettle that brings the copper accents out in my kitchen. Some people complained that the inside already had stains or spots in it after a use or two. True enough, but it cleans out easily and didn’t cost a fortune so I’m fine with it. It serves its purpose and looks pretty too.

spouse wanted a bigger tea kettle as she drinks a ton of tea. This one fit the bill and is pretty attractive to look at. Heats quickly. loud whistle.

Copper "paint" on the outside had drip marks in it. Otherwise, the kettle is nicely designed, good handle and seems solid.

Heats up quickly, and whistles when ready. Everything is as expected.
