SHELVING SOLUTIONS 4 Tier Shoe Rack, Shoe Shelf Storage Organizer

I needed a way to see and easily access shoes in a closet and had tried a number of other shoe storage options but by far this shoe rack is the best I have ever tried. (20) pairs of my shoes (without high heels) fit on the four shelves but pairs of high heels could be stored on their sides facing each other. Men's shoes and large bulky shoes would take up more room and consequently the rack would not hold (20) pairs. Boots and handbags, etc. can stored on the top shelf. Hints for putting shoe rack together: Check that all pieces are included in the box before beginning to put it together. The smaller steel tubes fit into holes in the plastic end pieces and there are (4) plastic L-shaped connectors to hold the sides to the top tube on each side. It's a little tricky to get the small tubes to stay in all of the holes as you are putting together a side and it would have been easier if I had used a small hammer to lightly tap the plastic end piece over each tube to securely seat the tube into the side piece as I went along but I didn't realize that the tubes needed to be tapped to secure them to the plastic end piece until I had finished putting the entire shoe rack together. NOTE: I recommend that you tap the plastic pieces with the hammer rather than tapping the end of the tube to prevent distorting the end of the tubes. After I had finished putting the rack together, I used a small hammer and lightly tapped on the plastic end pieces at the point where the tubes went into the plastic piece and then I lightly tapped the four corners on top of the vertical interlocked tubes to insure that the entire rack was securely together and stable. I store (20) pairs of women's shoes on this rack by turning each pair so that each shoe faces in opposite directions (i.e. toe to heel rather than toe to toe and heel to heel). You might be able to get even more shoes onto each shelf by turning the shoes to face each other. This shoe rack is gray and looks exactly like the picture on amazon.com and my shoes are visible, easily accessible and the shoes have ventilation to prevent odors or molds. The only negative is that the pieces were shipped without any cushioning inside the box and the pieces were constantly hitting others which could have damaged the painted steel tubes, but luckily the pieces were not bent or scratched when I unpacked the box. This shoe rack fits into the space perfectly and I now have complete visibility of my shoes and no problems accessing the pair I want. It is good value for the price and I highly recommend this shoe rack.

This is a shoe rack with four shelves. (I took close up photos so you can see the construction. Let me know if you find thiem helpful.)This was incredibly easy to put together. I had it together in 10 minutes without needing to use the diagram instructions. It has plastic connectors and the shelves are made of pipes with a powder coated finish. The pipes fit into the connections well. It’s 35”L x 33”H x 11”D. It’s pretty sturdy without any play in the joints. Shoes with spike heels don’t work on this rack but wedge heels work as well as any flat shoe fits in it pretty well

This little shelf is super easy to put together. It's great for organizing! Do not try to use it for heavy items, weights or books- the steel tubing is strong enough, but the tubes pull down on the plastic ends. It doesn't appear as if it will break, and the tubing shouldn't slip out, but it will make the shelf 'swayback'. You can also use the top two and the bottom 2 shelves separately, works perfect in the closet on the top shelving.

This is the worst product I have purchased on Amazon. It should have been easy to put together, but because it was so poorly made, it was a a real struggle. Many of the holes for inserting the dowel rods were poorly machined and the rods didn't fit. I had to make the holes larger to insert the rods. Once I finally got it together and in my closet, the top row of supports started falling off every time it was touched. I eventually removed the top supports. It does hold as many shoes as I need it to and it was cheap.I would not buy another one of these.

Needs better sides 2 keep shoes on rack

AMAZING shoe rack, looks great and is built well! It's not heavy duty but perfect to put shoes on!

I only received half of the pieces! I have enough pieces to make 2 tiers and then a bunch of extra rods but no connectors to build the rest of it. This is absurd! I want something done about this!

Very sturdy and easily holds 16 pairs of shoes.
