Yellow Jacket 69086 Hand-Held Vacuum Gauge with Fabric Carry Pouch

The product is a quality vacuum guage. A coworker has the more expensive version in a plastic case, but this one has a replaceable sensor which I don't think his has. So for me, this is perfect. It's more affordable, just as precise, and easier to repair when the time comes. Just find a safe location for it in your vehicle. The soft storage bag won't protect it from moist things in a work van or truck. I keep mine under the passenger seat when not being used.

Was expecting more from Yellow Jacket and its product quality control. The brand new gauge is not working and it got stock on 25000 micron when the gauge gets turned on.

great gauge, just be careful working in temps below 0 the gauge will not read correctly. take it inside and warm it up before pulling your vacuum and it will read fine

This is a very high quality gauge at a fair price! It is easy to use and very accurate! The sensor is very sensitive to oil; so try to keep it in an upright position in the least oily part of the system. If it seems like it stops working one day. Take the stem off the sensor and rinse it with alcohol. The instruction manual is very detailed! You can't go wrong with this tool if you need a vacuum gauge!

Operated a little strange the first time out of the box

have had this unit for over a year and even when it was new it had trouble with readings. if you touch just right the readings start going down but as soon as you turn lose of it goes back to start, you know, a bar line. today i had enough, i change out the rubber seal, hooked straight to one side of my gauges. hooked the pump up to the center hose. started the pump close the side with nothing on it made sure the other was open. as i fiddled with the meter it got down to 500. so i shut the valve and turned off the pump. the meter turn back to the start. so there you go, thought i would pay a bit more for better but feel like it was a waste. by the way i have another vacuum gauge that i switched to that works great.

Busted from day 1. It is stuck on microns > 25000 and the bar on top is stuck also. Left the pump on about 30 mins. Replaced the sensor with a new one, same output.Help line is useless, it is just there to tell you the item can't be replaced. I will avoid all yellow jacket products from now on.
