Zombie Winter (Jason Strange)

my 7 year old saw this book at a school bookmobile but the teacher would not let him purchase it because of the zombie...well he came home and talked to me about how he really wanted to read this book i checked it out purchased it ...he read it in an hour...he really liked the book it keep him interested he wants more from this author...

I liked the book because it is easy to read if you have trouble reading chapter books. I recommend this book. the pictures are scary and cool but the cover is scarier than the book.

My son (9) doesn't love to read, but he's really enjoyed this book. He is now reading it for the second time.

Good for reluctant readers

This book looks scary but it's not really that scary it's pretty fun to me but also a little creepy

I purchased this book at a school book fair based on it's content and it's reading level. I have a 5th grader who struggles with reading. Often when he finds something he CAN read it does not hold his interest because it is written for kids in 2nd or 3rd grade and is too young for him. He could not put this book down! And he was able to read through it and fully comprehend the entire story and retell it to me in his own words. Do be warned however that there is 'horror' content - although mostly silly horror and nothing too graphic. My son scares pretty easily and was ok with this - no night mares. There are a few minor curse words however - a prarent should certainly be aware of that before buying this book. I did not know prior to purchase, but the fact that my son was willingly reading was worth it - we are on Amazon to buy another Jason Strange book.
