Handy tool.
I bought this hoping to make my life easier removing some bushes and stumps. I bought some 9in blades to get below the ground, and it was fantastic. It probably saved me hours of hard labor already, my son and I removed our first shrub and a 30lb root ball in 30min. The battery got us through the first stump with not much life left, its the smallest stump so I purchased additional batteries for the rest of the job. It has good power, cuts well and is easy to handle.

Saw works!
On really solid thick wood, 1 inch real wood, using another type of saw would be better. I tried to cut thick wood and it took forever. It also kept bending the saws. For other types of jobs it works really well.I have most of Ryobi tools and really like them.

It is a nice improvement over the earlier Ryobi saw and that one lasted for YEARS!
My old Ryobi reciprocating saw died after helping me build three houses and many years or wide ranging and solid work. It worked great and thought to get a replacement. This newer version MUCH upgraded over my prior one and so far I like it a lot. It is lighter. They changed the safety so it is easier to use. The handle fits my hand better. The power is great. Would recommend.
