Was I liberated or infected by Barbie hype when I bought this slightly edgy, curvy, glamourous doll? No matter, I absolutely love her. I see her as an expression of my inner, eccentric self. Some reviewers have mentioned that the lack of underwear is a problem when you sit the doll down and I agree, so I bought a white bridal doll’s dress for the long billowing, two layered skirt and put it on her under the green top. I had to tie it there, because it is a little too small around the waist - dresses which fit are difficult to find for the curvy Barbie! But the completed look is gorgeous. And then I got her a Ken who sits with her on a bookshelf with one arm around her. Which one? A very handsome one with long brown hair. He is now wearing this Barbie’s racing driver jacket. Oh, I know, it’s not the fashion currently to think in doll couples, but hey this is my fantasy and I do so like a romance, ah…

Great value, I wanted to buy some barbies for my daughters birthday (will be her first ones) and seen this and thought it looked stylish. It looks like the picture, great size and pretty. I ended up buying a few more of them from the same range but off Smyths as they were either same price on offer or a little cheaper :).

My daughter loved this Xmas gift,even though she is no longer a child! She also received a mermaid Barbie - another exciting present! The detailed accessories are much appreciated, especially I would think by older kids!

This Barbie is pretty enough, has jointed arms, wrists and knees. Nice looking blue outfit but I was disappointed as it's not denim material and the paisley pattern is not very bold. I like the little button effects though. Her jacket is stitched on to her skirt so that will have to be cut. The skirt has velcro at the back. I'm not keen on the jewellery especially the ring which looks like a knuckle duster! Her shoes are quite nice a strappy pale blue. Accessories I'm not keen on apart from her sunglasses. I'm not into comical pets wearing gear...lol! Her hair is in a bad way, cut all over the place with very long bits here and there! There seems to be a problem with the quality of the hair in these dolls. I recently purchased the yoga ones and they have the same problems.

Good value for money, comes with a few accessories and great quality.!
