Greate Equipment
Work as is described. The Ubiquiti AP is really good and easy to configure. It work well with the Ubiquiti family equipment and with different router.

Feels like the current sweet spot for Wifi
If you're buying this you probably already know about Unifi. This is no different to their previous APs in terms of setup and use. The device itself is physically larger and uses a new mounting plate. Requires 30w PoE so make sure your switch can handle that or pick up some new injectors. Range is excellent as is throughput. Meshes with older hubs flawlessly. 6Ghz is really nice for phones but nothing else uses it ... yet.

Wifi 6e
Another great Access Point from Ubiquiti with the wifi 6e it is more secure and a better through put. The only bad side is the tech support which is hit or miss. The rma process is fairly easy and ubiquiti stands behind there products and I would suggest getting the extended warranty if buying straight from ubiquiti if bought through an Amazon reseller not to much to worry with. This unit is fairly large and is really made for high impact areas but I use it at home and love it I replaced a 6 pro and couldn't be more pleased with the functionality of this access point as with all of ubiquiti products

One of the only ways to get mesh support for 6e somewhat affordably
I've had some really poor experiences with consumer WiFi routers. Getting an enterprise system solves this. Note that this is just the WiFi hotspot and that you need a router like one of their dream machines in order to power it. The unit is very powerful, attractive in appearance, and pairs with the router like a charm. Devices seamlessly switch between these access points once set up. Ubiquiti reporting and traffic management is very intuitive and is the cherry on top.

Great Access Point and Fantastic Speeds
I bought this access point to help with wifi coverage in my house. This access point is great I got 800 mbps down and 500 up on a 1 gb down and 500 up internet plan. The only complaint I have and it's not with the product it's targeting towards Amazon is the shipping took a bit even though I am a prime customer and it said the product would be at my house in 3 days but it took a few extra. I would definitely recommend this AP to anyone who is a small business or a tech geek like me.

Runs hot, but works great when properly set up!
This Unifi 6E AP is an upgrade to my older Unifi AC HD APs. Its performance is what I expected; however, users should be aware that the 6GHz frequency... which is the whole point of this model... is ONLY available when using the new interface in the controller software! If you are using the legacy interface, this frequency will not be enabled. I'm not sure if they had a practical reason for doing this, but short of that it appears to be Ubiquiti's way of forcing people to update to the new setup. Personally I also created a separate 6GHz only SSID to prevent 6E capable devices from only utilizing the 5GHz WIFI 6 mode, which is NOT the same thing. This way the AP can still be a part of the 2.4/5GHz SSID groups, but I can also force my current WIFI 6E compatible devices to take full and proper advantage of the faster frequency. As for performance, the 6GHz is significantly faster than the old 5GHz of my previous gen Unifi APs. Just make sure you're not bottlenecking it by going through a 1Gbe switch or cable. I'm personally connected to a 2.5Gbe/10G POE+ Unifi Enterprise switch, and can max out my gigabit internet. I'll update my review with its true top speed when I finish my 10Gbe network upgrade. The greatest con of this AP, and my sole reason for knocking a star off, is that it does indeed get quite hot. I originally had it sitting on a desk while setting it up, and it would actually become too hot to hold for more than a few seconds! Though it'll eventually get mounted properly, I currently have it placed on a wire shelving rack, which allows for better heat dissipation and significant cooler operation. This heat generation is a real concern, as the life of the AP will surely be diminished because of it. The only other partial con is that unlike previous gen APs, this model doesn't include a secondary ethernet port to connect devices to. It also doesn't come with a POE injector; however, I never used those myself as I connect my APs to POE+ switches. In conclusion, I feel the Unifi 6E AP is worth the purchase, but only under specific circumstances: 1) you have 6E compatible devices and want the speed jump; 2) you don't already have AC/AC HD APs, and you want to buy "new" APs instead of used equipment (new AC HD APs cost the same or more strangely); and 3) your intended installation location doesn't get excessively hot. If you meet those criteria, then this AP is a great networking solution!
