Please keep in mind several things. First I am not a doctor. I consulted with my doctor before taking this supplement. Please also consult your doctor before you take this, or any supplement for that matter. Each individual is different. Your doctor is the best one to ultimately decided if this supplement is right for you. I wanted to give these a few weeks or so to see how well they work before writing this review. They are fairly large pills but don't seem to have a taste when taking them. They don't cause me any issue after I take them. Fish Oil for example I can still "taste" up to an hour after taking it. I started taking these roughly the 9th of November when I received them. On the 7th of December I had an appointment already for blood work. Today I got the results back. First though a little history. I started taking cholesterol medicine about two years ago, and that raised my liver enzyme levels. They plateaued after about a year later and have basically stayed the same since. After roughly a month of taking this they are lower. Lower as in outside the margin of error lower. Still high mind you, but they are moving the right direction for a change. Therefore they seem to work. I do however reserve the right to update this review if that changes in future blood tests.

I always find it so difficult to review supplements. It's hard to say whether they are actually working or if there is some placebo effect. With a supplement for specific purpose like this one is, the only way to really assess how good it is will be to get my liver enzyme blood tested after taking it for a while. I do have elevated liver enzymes that appears to be related to fatty liver, although I don't have a formal diagnosis of that yet. So, I do have a baseline from my last blood test before taking these. I'll have to update this after 3-6 months for the effectiveness of these supplements. However, I'm giving these a provisional 5 start rating because of what they don't do...they don't make me sick, or give me any unwanted side effects at all. I feel exactly the same after taking them as I did before taking them...which in my book is good. If there's nothing in them to give me bad side effects, then I can take them and move on to evaluating their effectiveness with my next blood test. So, 5 stars for now...update at next blood test.

As a senior who takes multiple prescriptions, I am always cognizant of the effect these drugs have on my liver - so much so, that my doctor routinely checks my liver enzymes. So any natural nootropic that contributes to healthy liver function is a must for me. LivPro XL is a real game changer for me: the combination of turmeric and garlic with other good stuff like dandelion root and artichoke extract does a marvelous job of maintaining healthy liver function - in fact, some of the minor GI issues my medications occasionally causes seems no match for this nootropic. I'm sure if it's reversing any of the damage long-term medication use may cause, but it sure is worth taking to minimize the effects of such drugs on the liver as this does.

Capsules are huge! Very hard to get down the gullet

I am a huge fan of liver supplements even though my doctor says they aren't needed.. I drink 3-4x a week and over 50 I want to make sure my liver and body has all the nutrients needed to function correctly. I recently went in for my yearly doctor appt and my blood work was great even my liver values. This tells me this product is working ( although I didn't take 5 days before my doctor appt ). Great product would order this again!

I get annual physicals, and as I get older, I notice that I can't stay as healthy as I was when I was younger without putting forth an effort to exercise and eat right. However, when I eat healthily, my cholesterol drops, but for the most part, my blood results are relatively consistent. So I took these supplements to see what happened since I drink a lot of beer throughout each year, and liver-related results changed significantly, which says a lot about a supplement.

As someone who regularly indulges in the occasional alcoholic beverage, I have learned the importance of liver supplements. Having used them consistently for some time, I have become a believer in their effectiveness when it comes to counteracting the negative effects of alcohol consumption. Not only can liver supplements help reduce oxidative stress, but they also help to replenish essential vitamins and minerals that may be lost when drinking alcohol. I have noticed improved energy levels, better digestion, and a reduced risk of hangovers as a result of my liver supplement usage.

I've only been taking these a shirt time but I can already tell they're helping my liver and gall bladder to function better. These are easy to take; you only need one. This is a Great Product!

I have a NAFL due to effects of chemo years ago and current medication I have to take. It was a shock to me but made me so aware of the reason behind various symptoms I was suffering from. The first things you think about with a badly functioning liver is yellow eyes, yellowing skin and perhaps weight gain. The less obvious signs are insomnia, fatigue, bad digestion, skin problems, dry and brittle hair and nails....the list is endless but this is because our liver is a very important part of our immune system and general body filtering and flushing system. I had tried various things and have been taking this for the last 2 months. I have noticed a better functioning digestive system (I won't give the details on how I know that!) and the sclera are appearing to be slightly less yellow. In my case with the major meds I have to take daily, I do not imagine that I will ever have a completely healthy liver but anything that keeps in at least functioning the best it can, it better than nothing. So.. so far I have noticed an improvement and will continue to take this indefinitely. Before this I did try dessicated liver tablets which seemed to do absolutely nothing but reduce my bank balance! I do believe in a more holistic approach to health anyway and we definitely learn a thing or two from the old fashioned herbal remedies. Overall, this product seems to be actually doing something. I won't get a clearer picture until one of my quarterly scans shows an improvement that can be noticeable to the technician but overall I am sleeping a little better, and my eyes are starting to look blue again due to the whites looker whiter so there must be a reason to keep taking these and as there is 2months supply in each bottle it is only basically £8 a month. Much cheaper than Dessicated bovine liver supplements and apparently more effective and I have not had any side effects while taking them.
