12AX7/B759 - Genalex Gold Lion, Gold Pin

This tube is amazingly quiet. It is just starting to really shine after about 20hrs. burn in. I was looking for a little more gain and robust bottom end to sound. This tube is exceeding my expectations in spades. It is well worth the time and price. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Here's a perfect example of "You get what you pay for". Yes this single tube cost more than most but it does more than most. The harmonics are wide and change as you turn the knobs on you amp. It took my Engl vs E646 from great to earth shaking when installed in the V5 input stage! It has well defined saturated lows which cross right into the high ranges. Not only will I buy more, but I'll hoard them for future apocalypses, toilet paper and Genalex tubes will keep the world rockin!

These sound so good.Especially in gain staging.Warm and thick.Especially in brighter tube amps.

A very detailed sounding tube, while being very noiseless! A little pricey compared to the competition. You won't be dissapointed!

I find this to be a very good tube to use in a good quality phono pre-amp.

have a small practice amp- bugera bc-15 and the tube wasn't dead but the tones were funky with a lot of unwanted reverb. Now maybe a new 10 dollar tube would have been as good but, I decided to go with a premium gold prong tube. The sound and power is amazing, better than i ever remembered it to be when new.. would recommend.HOW TO CHANGE BULB ON BUGERA BC-15 to change on bc-15 unscrew the four black screws inside on sides then the 4 chrome screws with the fixed backers on top and back and wiggle the unit out. working from the side release the spring cage and pull old tibe out. make sure unit off for 5 minutes (heat and charge0 AND OF COURSE UNPLUG THEN WAIT 5 MINUTES.
