The Poky Little Puppy and Friends: The Nine Classic Little Golden Books

Book is a gift for a friend's son. He loves to read. When he is done with his books, he donates to local library. It's a win-win!

I bought this for my Grandson because it has some of my favorite Little Golden Book stories I remember from my own childhood. They may be old stories, but they're still great reading at bedtime, and the illustrations are wonderful. He was very impressed by the golden edges of the book's pages. He loves that he's hearing stories I loved when I was just his age and I hope this hardcover edition will hold up so that he can one day read them to his children and grandchildren.

Loved the Pokey Puppy growing up. So when I was putting together a themed baby basket. This fit the bill. Loved that so many stories of his adventures was all in one book.

My baby shower invitation requested that each guest bring a book for the new baby’s library. I chose this book because it had several classics that I grew up reading. The book is made sturdy and durable. It should last many hours of reading.

My 3.5yo daughter loves this book. The stories are charming, not too long, with just the right amount of pictures. We typically read two or three at a time. I wish they’d make more books with multiple stories in them!

We read this story to our kids many many times -- it was one of their all-time favorites.Now our granddaughter is enjoying it along with the wonderful illustrations.She also likes to draw the characters -- often with help from us.

A beautiful book with classic children’s stories that have held up well since they were originally published. I was very happy to see the page edges are gold colored, it makes the book seem very luxe. I bought this as a shower gift for my unborn grandchild. The invitation requested everyone bring a copy of their favorite childhood book. The poky little puppy was my sons favorite!

I bought a few of your golden books for my Great Grandson who is to be born in August ones that my brother John loved when I used to read to him and our sister Jeanne. My granddaughter Bec asked us instead of a card can we buy him a little book so I bought some to include in his first few years me as I can’t get around the shops now as I am 80 in August and have Osteoporosis so I bought a few from Amazon

Love that I can share these classic stories from my childhood with my children. Great quality and my daughter likes looking on the back to pick the story to read.

My 6 year old daughter loved these stories and read them in about 2 days, the pages are gold around the rim, which was an added bonus for her.
