Like many I'm not too keen on the way this country (UK) is going with regards to online privacy and the apparent designs of both political parties to spy on and ultimately nanny British adults. So I did the research and after using Mullvad for a while here are my thoughts: Pros: + Widely considered the gold standard when it comes to privacy oriented VPNs. + Not based anywhere where privacy is increasingly seen as an obstacle to government's ideological interference with citizens' private lives. + Make it easy to sign up without exposing your personal information. With these scratch cards neither Amazon nor Mullvad can link the code on the scratch card to your Amazon account. + Software for Android works well. + DAITA countermeasures against modern traffic analysis techniques at the ISP level. + Multihop even when using the VPN on a router. + They make it clear which servers are self owned. + They properly override DNS settings; no DNS leaks. + Seem to be actively developing the service, as can be seen with their own app, browser and DAITA. + Not linked to advertising firms (no conflicts of interests), unlike at least one VPN. + The scratch cards actually look quite nice and would make a nice gift. Cons: - Server locations are more limited than with some other VPNs. - Might not be the best service for streaming as at least as far as the BBC goes their servers are blocked. - No incoming ports. Meh: ~ As with all VPNs connections made though Mullvad are slower than going direct but to be honest the impact isn't usually noticeable, and strangely in a very few cases going though them actually seems to be quicker. Overall I strongly recommend them.

Very slick and easy to use, Although I'm finding it a bit trying on Linux Ubuntu, installing on Android, child's play. It's a very user friendly vpn and about average cost wise compared with others, it's simple to change locations glad I bought it.

This offers a great value for money package for Mullvad's VPN, which I've been using for almost two years. I picked their service based on their no-logs policy and lack of forced subscription model, as you can simply pay month by month if you wished. Mullvad allows five device connections simultaneously, so I can use the same account on my PC, laptop and phone. Their speed is impressive (I even use it for gaming and haven't experienced any lags) and the services are rarely down - they are the perfect balance between easy of use, security and privacy. I would recommend Mullvad over the other commonly used providers such as Nord, as their IP addresses are often blacklisted by various websites.

Mullvad obviously respect their customers desire for privacy, as evidenced in their pay as you go policy and the fact that they require zero personal information from their customers. Yes, no name, address, telephone... Not even an email address. You simply download their app or configure Wireshark or OpenVPN to connect to their servers, get a randomly generated account number and pay/enter the code to use their service. The app is simple enough and offers multiple connection options for more advanced users. There are cheaper price plans from the competition if you are willing to sign up for a two year plan, but I like the simple pay as you go plan and bloatware free app. Many anti virus/security suite clients are borderline spyware in themselves these days and can tank even the performance of good PC hardware! Personally I see nothing wrong with the desire for more online privacy, and short of firing up a virtual machine and using the slow Tor network for everything possible then Mullvad is probably offers the closest thing you'll get to the impossible feat of true online privacy.

Mullvad's good and cheap. They're not the fastest, some services might throw you some more capchas, but their userbase seems to be confident with their security. Honestly I'm glad I didn't have to sign up to yet another subscription, I can just buy a 6 month on amazon. Their applications are perfectly compatible on Linux (Mint 22.2) and Android.

Best VPN on the market in my opinion. Although mulvad may not have the most VPN locations compared to competitors (nord vpn for example) it makes up for it in performance, functionality and security. In addition to this I trust Mulvad more than any competitor in keeping my data safe. These cards are relatively anonymous and none of your private information is required to renew the VPN key.

YES, YES, YES! Did I say YES? YES! Go get it, it's cheaper than buying it from Mullvad directly, gives you full anonymity and it is from a company I trust! YES! Beware, it is not to watch Netflix or Hulu while you are abroad, it is to have a safe surfing on the internet, explore the extra feature such as anonymized DNS, multi-hop connections, various protocols support, etc.

I like this VPN. It speeds up system updates. It always fires up on computer startup, which is a good security measure. This is probably one of the most privacy-focused VPNs around. The fact that the Swedish police paid them a visit is a recommendation. May I also recommend the Mullvad browser? The browser is a "fork" of Firefox with and goes very well with the Mullvad VPN. Highly recommended.
