Osmocote has always been a great product, i use it in my cactus when i transplant them and occasionally mix into the top dressing. the cost has went way up in recent years, but happened to catch it here on Amazon on sale and got 4 lbs for 8 bucks shipped, can't beat that with a stick. i get good growth rate using it, and i've never had it burn unless it's left touching seedlings in the grow out room, the high humidity in cactus seedling growout will cause it to leave a burn mark if it's touching, but it's never killed anything and only a slight cosmetic blemish.

Easy to use, works wonders on plants

This is fantastic fertilizer. Just sprinkle some on the top of the soil and it slowly releases into the soil with every watering. There is no forgetting to fertilize and you don't need to mix with water. I had a plant that was struggling and it was suggested I get a slow release fertilizer and I chose this one. It brought my plant back to life and it has doubled in the last 6 months!

I buy yearly to supplement my orchids. any leftovers go on any plants in pots in my yard. I have used this for well over 10 years and my plants always look good and grow well. Easy to apply, no fuss, reasonably priced, I highly recommend!
