The information in this book is wonderful. What I've read thus far certainly has helped me understand certain things in the profession. However, with that being said, I am wholeheartedly certain that there MUST be a better way of conveying this information. Sentences are well-written, but are about twice as long as they need to be to get the same point across. Obscure words nod to the writer's obvious intelligence, but alienate the reader; it doesn't matter that I understand the words that you're using when I'm reading for meaning of a concept. There is no need to be pretentiously showy...just make sure that I understand the material.Five stars for the intelligence of the writer. Four stars for material presentation. Two stars for unnecessary complexity of an already complex subject.

Good review but some of the test questions were unnecessarily tricky. As a professional I don't appreciate the value of changing a single word in a sentence versus understanding the underlying meaning.

Upon opening the package and receiving this book you could clearly tell it has been used. The first chapter is completely falling out of the book and there are a lot of pages with random sticky notes that are stuck to the page. I do not mind wear and tear, but I do not like when the book falls apart in my hands.

Great book! Easy to read and provides several vignettes to further facilitate your learning. I also appreciated the interventions and recommendations noted throughout the chapters.

I really love this text and it's format. It makes it easy to reference APA Standards and apply ethical decision-making practices.
