What can I say, at 45 years old I was needing a little extra support in perimenopause, and cortisol was a big issue for me. I needed a natural supplement that had adaptogenic herbs in it to help reduce my cortisol levels and keep me calm through the day. This fit the bill, and has done an excellent job so far at evening me out. My moods are more stable, and I’m definitely feeling more rested in the mornings as well.

When they changed the packaging, I didn’t know that they reduced the amount of ashwagandha. It went from a 35% extract to a 10% extract, but remained at 240mg. That means that the new formula has about 30% of ashwagandha than before. If I had known, I may not have purchased again. However, to be fair, the price of the product for what it contains is still pretty good

I was excited to try this product based on its potency and the positive reviews; unfortunately, it didn't work out well for me. It caused muscle contraction, muscle spasms and myofascial, which resulted in constant discomfort and sleep deprivation. Wanting to be certain, I tried it twice with the same negative results occurring within 3 days of taking it, and with symptoms lasting 5-6 days after stopping. It did increase my gym performance, but at too great a cost.In case it's helpful, I'll include my particulars: I'm a 56 year old male with above average testosterone levels and a lifelong lifestyle of fitness and weight training. I've tried ashwagandha before with zero results. I've taken it in hopes of increased gym strength, which has diminished due to numerous injuries and pain.
